The Left better brace itself for war

The Clintons are to the right of Obama.

The post I was responding to explicitly argued the opposite:

And every Democratic president has been getting increasingly more conservative than the last.

But I guess everybody's to the right of everybody when it's convenient for the doomsday cult argument.

Their welfare cuts in the 90's were also historic.

Is someone campaigning on bringing back AFDC? That must be a hidden plank of Bernie's because I haven't heard that.

Which should have been clear the moment she supported Barry Goldwater. But I'm guessing to you, that didn't happen either.

Wow, a suburbanite kid backed her father's candidate in high school? Scandal!

Of course, once she left home and went to college she supported Gene McCarthy in '68 and McGovern in '72.

I'm sorry, let me clear this up for you.

Hillary Clinton is every bit as conservative as the average republican.

If you cannot see the truth on this...you simply cannot see it.

Stay home; vote for a third party...whatever.

The only one who can't see the truth is you, Frank.

If you do not want to vote for Hillary Clinton either, Governess...don't.

Stay home; vote for a third party; vote for Donald Trump.

Cutting off one's nose to spite their face is a favorite tactic of people who are immature.

No, but it's telling that the rhetoric used to cut it was exactly the rhetoric republicans use today.

I didn't know about those.

She volunteered for McCarthy in New Hampshire in '68, wrote her senior thesis on Saul Alinsky in '69, and then she and Bill helped run operations for the McGovern campaign in Texas in '72. And McGovern endorsed her in the 2008 Dem primaries.
