Dec 19th debate

In the beginning I think the plan was to keep Hillary in the news. She was already coronated but they couldn't have the Republicans getting all that publicity with all of their debates and her getting nothing so they needed someone to run and debate against her to keep her in the news. Enter Bernie. Trouble is no one kept Bernie in the loop and he actually wants to win. He doesn't understand his place in the DNC/Clinton/Schultz plans.

I seems to me, the only ones calling for debates are the socialists who support Sanders. Without them, there would likely be no debates at all. Keeping Hilary Clinton under wraps appears to be a very important objective.

Yes agree 100%.

It’s clear she has been practicing, definitely more polished and less robotic. I do find it rather amusing she is trying to put forth solutions for issues she helped cause.

She may do ok against Trump in a debate but Cruz or Rubio would make her look like a silly school girl melting down because she got teased. The tactic of her camp and the DNC is interesting though, shelter her at all costs from any unfriendly media or over exposer.

As for Sanders, to a certain extent he is doing the same thing, to use a snow skiing analogy, he’s been skiing the (bunny) kids hill wearing Olympic racer garb. He also avoids any real exposer other than his stump speeches. In-depth interviews are almost non existent since he has been running, he refuses requests but then whines that they don’t ask and plays the false/fake outrage card.

Well, and the email scandal, and the FBI investigation, and the multiple felonies, all of which came to light.

Generally, when you are the front runner by that much, you don't want to be in the news and you don't want your opposition in the news. You don't want them to shine, and all you can do is screw up your lead.

She is right, she should not demonize them like she demonizes Republicans.

The truth is Hillary is actually insulting the intelligence of moderate Muslims. Does she really think moderate Muslims are going to start killing innocent civilians and going to war after watching a few clips of Donald Trump? What an asinine statement. That's like saying kids are motivated to shooting schools from watching a few violent movies.

In the debate Hillary actually praised George W. Bush for his response after 9/11.

She's overall oblivious on the Middle East. Her statement regarding ISIS on "we now finally are where we need to be" is equivalent to Bush's "we need to stay the course in Iraq" statement.

and msnbc is showing prisoner interviews

who the hell is in charge of programming at that damn station

I know. Is it a news channel or not. If it's always going to be about ratings then just put titties all over the place and quit pretending. Like MTV did when they finally admitted that the "M" no longer stands for music.

You have the win the general afterwards, and gun control is a big no-no in swing states like Colorado. As a conservative, the further Clinton pushes left on this, the better I feel.
Good point.

I think POTUS' action just helped shift Colorado firmly into the "likely R" position.

Considering how importantly the 'high capacity mags' figured in the mid-terms there, yeah you might very well be right.

And CO is an important state.

Those pot smokers better step-up for the Dems! ;)
