I would rather the people who donated money spent it on themselves. Whatever happened to democrats being against big money in campaigns?

The federal gov't alone spends that much every day. Perhaps we can close the entire federal gov't one Wednesday a year and save that much, better yet every Wednesday and save 52x that much. Hmm...
 
No wonder John McCain and Feingold were silenced. As stupid as the Republicans and Democrats are, they probably think they're stimulating the economy spending this much. "Here jeeves, nice hefty tip from bring my drink, now go buy a nickle bag and enjoy!"
 
we could buy 40 f-22's, which are real gen-5, not like some country's garbage pretend gen 5 :D.

or 2/3rds of a new ford class super carrier. which are real super carriers, not like some country's garbage pretend 80's russian surplus carriers :D.

Good job blaming the other side, lol.

Democrats were against super pacs the whole time, but if everyone else is using them in an election, you have to play the game to win.
 
Private money out of poltics. If someone wants to spend that kind of cash, why don't they do it on someting meaningful like charity or helping pay off the debt.
