Not having watched Fox News in many years, I decided to pop in post election to see how the regrouping was coming along. Some things that I noticed.

1 I actually heard the statement "shifting like a truck driver with hemorrhoids" (the delivery was horrible and as I'm typing this.. I heard "pushing granny off the cliff" in reference to where Granny is going to end up under the Obama administration))
2. A very unqualified young lady is going through an imaginary interview processes where the audience is to imagine that she is no longer working with FOX and aggressively rejecting job applicants one after another based on their presidential endorsements. Under the surprise ambush the interviewees readily coughs up their sins and are rejected from the privilege of her employment.
3. A commercial tied 9/11, the election loss, and abortion to THE APOCOLYPSE. (I'm hoping the ad comes on again so I can catch the title and know if this is supposed to be Dec 22 or the next registered potential end-of-world slot.
4. Not on this channel, but earlier today I read an article where Ann Coulter say in a single discussion says "I walked up to Mitt and told him he owed me." (in regards to the weight of her endorsement)....and an accusatory statement utilized the word "owed" in regards to the Romney 47% kind of way and the overall problem with America .
5. There was a guest who said "Duh (sic) we've wanted to legalize pot for a while now" and criticizing Obama for not legalizing sooner. (This issue has all the characteristics of a Trojan Horse which Obama has rightly avoided although I would personally would love to see it legalized tomorrow).

Reps need to dump this craziness and adopt a position of actual integrity. Support discussion, condemn gridlock, and put forth some real ideas! I grew up Rep but had to go the other way in 2008 and 2012 because I believed that what the Tea Party was putting forth was incompatible with the modern world and had nothing to do with what I value. In Florida, this election, demonstated a consistancy on issues I havn't seen before and this indicates that people knew what they were voting on. Lose Limbaugh... He's hatefilled and picks his battleground on details in such a way that it pre-supposes to the audience that the issue is already settled while he make claim after unverifiable claim on obscure details intended to evoke emotional outrage. I'm one of many voters that will follow the most reasonable solution.

i keep seeing these posts like the republican party was annihilated and needs to drastically change their policies as a result of this election. they kept the house, and obama barely won the presidency by a margin of a couple % in 4 swing states. if the tea party shuts its mouth in 2014 they may well easily win back the senate, if you look at the many vulnerable democrat seats, mostly from the 2008 democratic wave in marginally republican areas.

Problem is... the Republicans claimed they would win with a landslide because of the economy and the supposed failed policies of Obama... and despite the bad economy and the black guy in the White House, the GOP managed to lose seats in the House, lose seats in the Senate and was beaten to the White House and in the popular vote. The GOP did not win anything at all, and lost everything because they were living in a massive fantasy bubble of their own making.

No matter how you slice or dice this, this was an utter defeat of epic proportion by the Republicans.. both morally, politically and more importantly...it debunked their failed and flawed premises they had been pushing for 2 years.

but the people didnt reject those premises, because they kept them in the house.

Could not have said this better.
