Obama's first order of business

read the last few posts ( by Johnny and Head)... this is exactly why we won't see the necessary cuts materialize

neither side will back away from their pet items... both sides are incredibly ****ing stupid.

On that we can agree.

yes yes.. you want more spending on stuff you like.. cut spending on stuff you don't like

you are so unique.

No, it doesn't work that way. It work like this: spend on productivity during a recession so that the economy become productive. It's called basic economics. Every successful company in the world follows it. When the economy is humming along again, pull back on expenditures and pay off the debt.

Nations that spend on dead weight, like the military, have slow economic growth and eventually can't afford an effective military.

Debt is a long term problem, not a short term problem. Stop fetishizing it. You're like a doctor who wants to treat a diabetic who just got over by a truck for diabetes instead of crash injuries. We just got run over by a truck -- the Bush Meltdown. We need to fix that first and then worry about debt.

Obama is spending 5.60$ for every 1$ dollar that is currently generated in a Private Economy

Wow, that may be the most outrageous lie I've ever seen posted here. I don't suppose you want to take a crack at supporting that clownishly wrong assertion?

I have already communicated you don't want spending cuts... why did you feel the need to restate it?
it's ok man.. you're not alone... very few people actually want spending cuts.

forgive me if i don't take your "economic" arguments seriously... you're the same guy who told me buying land is bad.

Yeah, Obama is doing EXACTLY what he did last time when he had his Healthcare Summit, "I won--suck it". Good luck with that Round 2 when you do not have a democratic House to do your bidding, Mr. President. When the American people spoke, they said "Let the Republicans be in charge of the purse strings."

Exactly, that is what I heard in his first speech.

He said over half the country voted him back in. How many people actually voted for him? That doesn't sound true.

Obama did win. Romney's tax cuts for Paris Hilton went down in flames. Tea Party Occupied Congress should suck it and stop holding the middle class hostage to their fawning desire to help the Koch Brothers survive.

Do you have alink or something that shows Romney was going to lower taxes on rich people?

I am amazed at how many people actually beleive what Obama was saying about Romney regardless of the truth.

Acknowledged Mr. Prosecutor. But I did answer. You just don't like the answer. Is $1M a year wealthy enough for you. It should be a new top bracket, as Obama proposed, but the GOP (of course) refused to pass.

Why are you saying 1M when you know Obama considers 250K rich?

wrong. his first order of business was to order us to begin negotiations for the surrender of constitutional sovereignty to the UN:

You guys are acting in a more and more paranoid manner almost every day.

clipped from the Reuters article
"We seek a treaty that contributes to international security by fighting illicit arms trafficking and proliferation, protects the sovereign right of states to conduct legitimate arms trade, and meets the concerns that we have been articulating throughout," the official said.

"We will not accept any treaty that infringes on the constitutional rights of our citizens to bear arms," he said.

U.S. officials have acknowledged privately that the treaty under discussion would have no effect on domestic gun sales and ownership because it would apply only to exports
