We were told in 2008 if we elect obama the US was going to die. 4 years later, we are better off.

We were told there was no way obamacare would pass, and yet it did.

We were told obamacare was not constitutional, yet it was declared constitutional.

We were told obamacare would destroy us all, but we are still here, and many of us are saving money due to the regulations on health care.

We were told obama was a failure despite the fact we are better off.

We were told obama would be a one term president, yet he was re-elected.

Now we are being told we are doomed again because of obama's re-election. Could someone explain to me why we should believe the people who have been so overwhelmingly wrong about their disaster predictions? Oh, and in four years when we are still here, and things are better off will the people shouting doom and gloom wake up and realize they were wrong?

Magic 8-Ball says no. Because they won’t be wrong in their own terms. It is doom and gloom that they aren’t waking up in the never-quite-was-that-good-1950 with them at the top of the top of the racist and misogynistic heap, sipping their Old Fashions from exquisite crystal tumblers while they thoughtfully contemplate which member of the secretarial pool they’ll claim as their prize tonight.

Rumors of apocalypse is all that's left in the quiver of conservatism. They are intellectually bankrupt.

They seem to unable to stop looking into the rear view mirror. Why? Its dangerous not to look forward from time to time.

we're marginally better off, but also much deeper in debt, so we're about the same place we started.

obamacare pleases no one, except big pharma and big insurance

it's only constitutional as a tax, although it's not a tax according to obama

that remains to be seen, as most of obamacare hasnt come into effect yet, wait for 2014+ before making a call on its impact

obama is a failure in terms of leading the country, he completely failed to convince a single republican to back him, unlike clinton who was a master of bipartisan getting stuff done.

he barely won, by a margin by ~1.5% in ohio, florida, and virginia, it could have gone either way.

who knows, his first act after being re-elected was to grant the UN sovereignty over the 2nd amendment, so we may well be doomed, only time will tell.

and i'm saying all this as someone who voted for him twice.
