I thought this was pretty interesting.....vote by education.jpg

Source Link: Using this persons link because he links to his source, but his source is an excel file so can't easily post the data from it like I can his page

It's funny that you and others railed against the notion that Romney shouldn't worry about trying to gain the voters of "47%" of Americans and attacked him for "Attacking" people like the elderly who factored into that 47%.

Yet you come in here happily highlighting the "10 worst educated" states and how they voted conservative...as if somehow 1) Education automatically correlates to intelligence and that 2) since you deem to provide no useful or additional insight what so ever, we can only go off your history of comments which would imply that you're posting this to mock Republican voters.

You realize that people 65 years and older are at about 27% on average having college degrees? That's compared to roughly 41% on average for the younger groups.

Take a look at this page with census data (Link). Notice that your darkest areas are along some of those middle of america red states. It'd also be interesting to see where the those packets of more educated 65 year olds are located, and what their financial situations looked like compared to those in some of the southern and middle america states.

It is "interesting", but not surprisingly...like most things partisans post...there are a ton of ways it could be interpreted ranging from "less educated people are dumb and they vote conservative" to "this shows that the more people are indoctrinated to liberal academia the more they become democratic voters" and a ton of things in between.

What it tells me is little to nothing, since we know that entire states populations don't turn out for an election, and that we have no way of knowing what the educational experience OR the Intelligence of individuals who actually casted a vote actually is.

More people without a diploma voted for Obama.
