Anyone else notice Fox news' 24/7 front page coverage of the Benghazi "scandal" magically disappeared? All that patriotic outrage was just bull****, they didn't actually care.

That would be fun. We'd get to see the spectacle of a Republican-majority House impeaching yet ANOTHER sitting Democrat president, knowing full well that there aren't enough votes in the Senate to get a conviction. How'd that work out last time? :lol:

Its not over, just the opposite, now the MSM is picking it up. It will be the downfall of obama. when a president ignores the safety of americans because of political motives, it is not forgiven.

You haven't been debriefed yet? Mr Cat... the whole Benghazi "controversy" was just a political stunt concocted by the patriot right. The bad things they said about Obama were made up... that's why they dropped it after the election.

Nope, the facts are the facts. Obama let 4 americans die rather than admit that it was a terrorist attack on his watch. The truth will set you free, verax. Try it sometime.

It isn’t dropped. Its corpses has just been rolled into storage. Fox will trot it out again, with breathlessly urgent and hyperbolic teaser lines, during the next 3 or 4 election cycles to stir up another round of faux controversy. :roll:
 
Everything the rightwing noise machine propagates is disingenuous and situational. They had hoped their ridiculous Benghazi meme would have traction, but Americans were too smart for Fox's desperate attempts.

I think the reign of Fox is over.
 
The House Intelligence Committee is planning to hold a closed hearing next week on the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya.

The head of the CIA, David Petraeus, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, Matthew Olson, are expected to testify at the Nov. 15 hearing, sources tell The Hill.

Since Congress has been in recess, the administration has briefed the House committee’s staff on the events surrounding the Libya attack, according to Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-Md.), the panel’s ranking member.

Clapper has also sent to the committee a compilation of raw intelligence and analysis pertaining to an internal review that he conducted of the U.S.-generated intelligence that agencies had access to before and after the attack, as well as information about the attackers.

A half-dozen committees are probing the issue, including the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is planning to hold a closed hearing on the same day as its House counterpart is set to look at the intelligence community’s knowledge and activity leading up to the attack.....snip~
