Not another 4!

Uh oh, another 4 with Barack, we're in for something bad here.

I think it is crazy how people choose to vote him into office again for what hes done. From letting China cheat to increasing Government spending, his last term was horrible. The people that want government spending don't understand that the government can not pay for the jobs that are being created in the government. And no, you can't just "print money" because when you treat money like that, the value of the dollar goes down. Mitt Romney knew how to create jobs. His plan was to cut taxes by 20%, creating jobs.

I do believe in the American people, however. I have a feeling that since we are on the verge of such an economic breakdown, that the economy will have to get better. I feel like more Americans will want to work and will need to work, making more jobs. Jobs don't come when some people are lazy, getting housing paid for and money from Obama. When someone is living off of being lazy, what motivation does this person have to work? I believe that America WILL be strong again, but not because of Obama, but because of the will power of the American people. But Obama will be praised because people will think he did this and brought the economy up, but that won't be the case. The American people have been and will always be strong and they themselves, will bring this torn economy back up.

Have HOPE and BELIEVE in the American people! :)
 
Where do you think jobs come from?......the corporations employing China and India are not bringing those jobs back to the US.....that means we need to come up with a new way to make create jobs/ money....we need to develope the next big great thing to start an economic boon (last boon was technological and we've had nothing great since the telecom industry dried up).....plus.....we have overpriced our entire way of life here in America in addition to letting big corps keep us dependant on their supplies and services that any attempt to develope something that just might threaten their monopoly over us will be squashed in a nano-second.

The majority of americans now want free stuff from the government, thats why obama won.

Exactly, now they expect it, instead of trying to be hard-working Americans. Free handouts are what makes the debt increase. I agree completely.

the problem is that once the people find out that they can vote free stuff for themselves, it cannot be stopped until the economy collapses. We are seeing that happen in Greece and other european countries right now, and we refuse to learn from it.

We have liftoff: conservatives thinking they can win votes by insulting people.

The only people I see with free stuff is the idle rich. Every American I know works hard for a living. Maybe you need to move outside of your country club circles.

Actually, I am middle class. I'm not insulting, it is just the truth. And just because every American you know does, doesn't mean all Americans do, that is, unless you have over 300 million friends.

Your awareness of European politics is about as deep as the shallow end of the pool.

The problems in Greece and Spain didn't come because the "socialist" government decided to let the people get FREE STUFF. Such a concept is entirely alien in Europe.
The reason some European countries are going bankrupt is because of:

a) too much debt being forced down their throat
b) having a currency that doesn't correctly represent the economic power of each individual state, but rather, of the union of states.
c) being forced to sponsor the IMF and the ECB and then getting rammed in the ass by the very same institutions that are being paid to serve the countries.

What free stuff? What a ridiculous statement. The vast majority of Americans want to be able to provide for their families. They want a fair opportunity to participate in society and they want opportunities for their children. There is no difference in aspirations between Democrats and Conservatives. The difference lies in how society is set up to provide those opportunities. Is it set up so that 1 in 1000 of the very poor can work their way to middle class or is it set up so 200 in 1000 can do that.

Making, and worse, believing these trite statements is mind-numbingly silly
