Bush was elected for a second term, and liberals hated him. He was a divisive president.

Barack Obama is the most divisive figure in America today. He is the Democrats version of George W Bush.

The anger on the right is downright palpable. Any hope on behalf of the left that this will shift the Republicans further to the left is not going to happen. This country will continue to split further and deeper among ideological lines.
