Remember how Rove was predicting a big Romney win. Remember how rightwing bloggers insisted the "libral media" was conspiring to game the polls. Well, of course, all this has been exposed as another tea party meme.

It is hilarious however to see Rove melt down on Fox News as the reality set in. It appears Turd Blossom's career as a spin meister is over.

He's officially lost face with the rich to do ANYTHING for their party.....

I guess the delusion went one bridge too far.

It will be interesting to see what narrative the battered and bruised tea partiers will rally around. I suspect it will be that Romney was too liberal and he needed to call for concentration camps for immigrants, and debtor prison for poor people.

The tea party will be lucky to get coverage...the republican party and rich are done with them, IMHO

If that's what you call a freak-out, I'd say you need to get a life. ;)

Rove looked silly last night but I stopped watching him. It was much more entertaining to watch the Liberal Diane Sawyer on ABC who was either drunk or strung out last night, so I flipped to watch her.

The thing is that the rightwing noise machine primaries "normal" Republicans who don't toe the tea bagger line. The result is that the GOP is in a death spiral whereby it can only become more and more radically rightwing while the rest of the country rejects its weirdness.

The narrative is already emerging from the noisemachine: Romney was too liberal! Wonderful!

Nothing left of conservatism but insults and delusions.

It is impossible to win an election against Santa Claus when the press labels you as the Grinch, but Rove (and the GOP) will not stop believing that we can never borrow and spend our way "forward" to prosperity. Curious as to why these same "Obama" voters did not alter the make-up of congress to let their wishes become the law of the land. I see 4 more years of muddle along hoping for change. USA, USA, USA...

I was very disappointed with the lack of freaking.

Romney is just another "big gov't" politician that tried on too many hats during his campaign. The TP folks are mostly not social conservatives but fiscal/constitutional conservatives - a big difference. The GOP must stop the nonsense of playing social nanny (and world policeman) just as the demorats must stop playing Santa Claus (sugar daddy?) with borrowed money then we may actually start to govern sanely. USA, USA, USA...

I dumped ABC when I heard Sawyer say early on that they've called some State based on exit polls.

The tea party are mostly rural knownothings steeped in conspiracy theories, nativism, and knownothingism. They are the future of the GOP, such as it is.

Rove actually created the tea party by making a coalition with racist whites and religious rightwingers, who used to be considered kooks by the GOP establishment. Now they own the establishment and Rove realizes he has created a Golem that will destroy the GOP. Indeed, he spent most of the last year attacking Palin and the rest of his frankenstein monsters.

Poetic justice.

You should have stuck with it. It was unreal. It's all over the internet today about her very erratic behavior. She looked drunk.

LOL.......

The amount of partisan hackery in this post is astounding.......

for some reason, I am reminded of this:

She sure did! And George seemed a little disconserted with her behavior. As for Rove, I think stunned is a better discription.

I call them like I see them. Are you denying the tea party is nativist, anti-science, and engages in crank economic theory like returning to the gold standard.

Come on now, fess up! The election's over and so is the tea party. You can take stock of your moribund ideology.

I'm willing to bet that there were a lot more drunk conservatives commentators last night than Sawyer, including Rove, as they staggered home and crawled into whiskey bottles.

Though I suspect Rove is a girl-drink drunk.

I watched some of the videos on YouTube.

The look on the faces of those two guys when she started talking about the "exclamation point"...priceless.

Uh-huh...

I guess a cheap shot with no basis in fact is right up your alley, eh?

Care to link to something that shows I am a part of the Tea Party??????

I am actually dissapointed as a couple of people have told me Rove freaked out. I would not call that a freak out. I would say he was desperately grasping at straws and hoping for some sort of huge upset despite the evidence of reality, but that has been the whole republican thing this election. This was a wipe out for mitt. Obama did not just win by a slim margin, it was not even close in the end. This great idea that mitt was close and now we see Obama beat him by a comfortable and definitive lead. All this time republuicans have been grasping onto little straws and erroneous polls and trying to say that Mitt was a for sure winner.

All the boasting that mitt was a sure thing now comes to an end around here, and we see it was all a bunch of hot air from the republicans because the real vote was not in yet and they could gloat up until today. The only question i have is how many of them will come around and admit they were wrong to say mitt was going to win this without a doubt. I predict none of them.
