I'm actually amazed at all of the disruptions at polling places today and I'm not talking about the lines. I've heard everything from poll watchers getting thrown out and voter suppression and of course the black panthers...again.

What say you?

I support Federal voting laws that cover every state. Hours they're open. Early voting laws. Final date for absentee ballots being mailed to potential voters...different for the military than the rest of us. Who can work the polls. No loitering in the polling place itself. No loitering within 500 feet of any parking lot or building used as a polling place. No signs within the same distance. And, of course, laws that govern what happens to the ballots from the time you cast your vote until the tally is reported. I'm sure there are more steps that need to be addressed, but these are just off the top of my head.

It won't be too long now that people begin to feel our votes are stolen. It's time to get these incidents under control.

I just hope one of the conservative Great Americans get some proof this elections of the busloads of illegal voters that are everywhere voting for the democrats. They should be easy to spot, big yellow bus, not speak English, proceeding from one polling place to the next.

I think it's red meat....last ditch efforts to say "see what you're voting against"!

To me the New Black Panther Party is super red meat to the right in so many aspects....

Can I get an AMEN to that sister - Amen

I'm still trying to find out if the GOP pamphlet people are messing things up back home in Cheesehead land.

Some voting machines in PA are choosing Romney for you when you select Obama:

More concerning:

The "oops" of the Obama administration to not get ballots to our military personnel.
The hundreds of thousands, over all millions, of people allowed to ONLY cast provisional ballots and other paper ballots not to be counted for 10 days.
The extreme FRAUD attempts - even we have gotten those materials.
False "mail this in to cast your vote" mailings.
Letters explaining if a person doesn't return some form they won't be allowed to vote.
And now calls telling people that due to voting lines they can just tell the person their vote over the phone and then should go to the polls ...

and that is happening by the MILLIONS in swing states. There certainly is NO way to blame this just on Republicans as ALL of that crap we and people we know have and are getting is for Obama.

IF this is a tight election, the winner is going to be determined by which side had people - likely NOT connected to the campaigns - that ran the best and most successful frauds. In short, if a close election there was no democracy at all.

The government should go to unlimited efforts to catch those people - no matter motive or on what scale it done - and send them to prison for life. Laws should be passed that DELIBERATE attempts via such means to prevent a person from voting should carry a mandatory minimum of 20 years in prison and should be totally vigorously pursued in investigtation and in prosecution.

We can't even count how many people died to give this country democracy. Anyone who acts to deny that should found and be treated without mercy.

That has been happening both ways even through early voting.

GET RID OF THOSE DAMN MACHINES. This has been known for YEARS. Plus the company that made it should be sued for a gzillion dollars.

In Ohio, the right wing group True the Vote was told they could not put poll watchers into voting places

True the Vote observers barred from Franklin County polling places

There were charges yesterday that the candidates' names had either been falsified or merely copied on forms requesting observer status for the True the Vote at several Franklin County polling places. Many are in predominantly African American neighborhoods.

Elections Director William A. Anthony Jr. said the group may be investigated for possibly falsifying documents after today's election. The forms themselves warn that elections falsification is a fifth-degree felony.
