Is this what a voting booth should look like?

Voting in Philadelphia today....

Who is in the painting on the left side of the photo that's blocked by the booths?

Would this count as electioneering within 100 ft. of a polling location?

I'm guessing it is a public school or community building. I would say at most it should have been covered with a sheet.

My voting place was a Presbyterian church with big crosses and Jesus everywhere.

It is a school from my understanding.

I heard they moved the polling place from Romney Elementary to Obama Elementary. Damn partisan hacks!!!

Seriously, that is kind of bad. Not exactly a subliminal message.

Not quite the same (Candidate running for office), but it does have political meaning, sure.

If this is real, it definitely qualifies as electioneering IMO. I agree that it should have been covered up with a sheet before the polls opened.

You really don't see a difference between a non-political, non partisan, historical figure and the current sitting democratic president and nominee being presented in bold view at a polling site?

You think those things are equivalent enough to mention your experience with no further commentary on the op?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall seeing "Jesus" on the ballot.

Ask Disney if he noticed any liberals spontaneously burst into flames when they entered. :lamo

Well first, I doubt the painting will change anything anyway. Some places are just going to vote for the anointed one either way. As for voting in a church, WTF? Are there no public buildings where that is done? I go to church and I think that churches should NEVER be used as polling places EVER.

I haven't voted yet, but when I do, I am going to vote for whomever's picture is on the wall.

No....but there were a few jews and muslims standing outside debating about whether they should try to go in.

God forbid if we allow a school to have a photo of our President or a mural of our President. Man....what is this country coming to?

I guess they should have a Talmud and Koran on hand, huh?
