Is this what a voting booth should look like?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall seeing "Jesus" on the ballot.
Don't you remeber all the controvercy about him not really being born in America and his upbringing not being Christian? Pretty much killed his campaign. :D

North Korean Polling place

Just kidding........calm down.

Ann Coulter would be upset that you told me to calm down!! I would like to know where the picture is from, though.

People get so upset over the stupidest things.

God forbid if we allow a school to have a photo of our President or a mural of our President. Man....what is this country coming to?

Keep in mind the Obama field thingie, and the hope and change thingie. No, it has nothing to do with him just being president, it was probably put there in 2008.

Stuff like that bugs the crap out of me. There were a bunch of people out in front of my polling place this morning shilling for various candidates/issues.

You would just shrug your shoulders if it were a Romney mural? No big deal right?

WAIT!! Romney is an evil rich, racist, bigot, sexist, homophobic, Fascist, white, mormon, mormon, mormon, mormon!!

I think there is a mistake in the Order. It should read "AdamT" not Adam Bonin :lamo

You said something to them. Right?

I have no problem with them having the mural...I understand that many people/communities view Obama as a civil rights leader instead of merely a politician, and that's fine. What I object to is that they're displaying it during the election. It should be covered up with a canvas for the duration of the voting.

You really don't see a difference between a non-political, non partisan, historical figure and the current sitting democratic president and nominee being presented in bold view at a polling site?

You think those things are equivalent enough to mention your experience with no further commentary on the op?

Technically, President Obama cannot be considered a Historic President while still in office.

It should have been covered. It qualifies not only as a type of persuation, but also as a form of intimidation.

No, I completely ignored them.

What they were doing was technically legal, and it wasn't worth getting into an argument over.
It was illegal and absolutely worth making an argument over. Evidently a judge agrees and ordered it covered.

I can't imagine it matters too much but its still really stupid to have an area that is not impartial. I wonder how many people would have their votes changed by this, its seems bizarre but I'm sure somebody gets weak in the knees and succumbs to Fuhrer Obama, lol.

It's not stupid, it's the law.

And this is what it truly boils down to. I couldn't care less about a mural on the wall as it wouldn't have influenced my vote one way or the other. However, it's illegal. Period.

Please, will you look at us for once? I'm tired of you looking at yourself in the mirror!!
I guarantee I would not get my panties in a bind over something like this. I can guarantee that in Utah there are a number of precints in Mormon churches, because there were when I lived there!
