How US election is observed in Europe

F

Future2050

Hello,

It is amazing how other countries in the world are considering US election. While President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney are neck-and-neck in national US polls, in Europe especially in Belgium, a recent survey shows that 90% of the persons would vote for Obama (survey link: RTL info - La Une de l'actualité).
I've noticed most of the time when a US election takes place, european people would vote Democrats instead of Republicans.
What 's the reason of such difference? It's all tied up in US but it's an a choice of adhesion elsewhere.

They remember how Bush treated them and they can see parallels in Romney (his bull**** move in Britian). They have no interest in being treated like that again. Or maybe they are more sophisticated than most US voters.

They do not share the same values as Americans and they do not see all the information we have to make that decision. Europeans are more inclined to socialism so they are going to not have the issue with big government social programs the way a lot of Americans do.

Meh, it was a democrat who told them he was a Berliner (jelly donut) and the euroweenies like jelly donuts.

Europeans are not socialists.

European countries are not socialist countries.

They are very capitalist and free and democratic countries with well-planned and good working social programs. Social programs are not SOCIALIST inventions. Most social programs out there have been invented by conservatives, liberals or nationalists. There is a whole thread i started about this. Also, consevatives in Europe =/= conservatives in the USA and liberals in Europe =/= liberals in the USA.

Yeeeey.

Also, the correct thread is: How US elections *are observed in Europe.

Like I said, socialists.

As for the "corrected thread" I was addressing: "I've noticed most of the time when a US election takes place, european people would vote Democrats instead of Republicans.
What 's the reason of such difference?" so like I said again, Socialists.

You didn't see the rest I typed. Here, let me refresh your memory: "They are very capitalist and free and democratic countries with well-planned and good working social programs. This is the full thing.

This is the thread I was refering to: http://www.debatepolitics.com/gover...41579-socialism-not-same-social-programs.html

This is utter nonsense. Most Europeans know more about american politics and America than most Americans do.

Do not share the same values? Where do you get this crap from? Oh I know Fox told you so it must be a fact.

You keep saying SOCIALISt. Please provide unbiased, objective and verifiable information or evidence to support this or you are just blowing smoke out your butt.
