Swing-state papers flip to Romney ahead of Election Day | Fox News


The race for the White House is airtight hours before Election Day. But in the battle of swing-state newspaper endorsements, Mitt Romney appears to be winning -- aided in large part by papers that switched from backing Obama in 2008 to supporting the 2012 Republican nominee.
According to an analysis by Poynter, Romney has bagged a total of 24 swing-state newspaper endorsements, to Obama's 15. Across the country, at least 30 newspapers also flipped from backing Obama in 2008 to backing Romney this year.
They include some major swing-state papers, including the Wisconsin State Journal. In its editorial Sunday, the newspaper called Obama the "more likable and inspiring speaker." However, the editorial said, "this election is about jobs ... This is now Obama's economy, even though the GOP shares in the blame for partisan games."

Not too surprising when you consider Romney's base. The coal industry supports him. old school oil supports him. people who believe the bible is the litteral word of god support him. people who believe in prayer over science support him. People who believe evolution is not true support him. people who believe abortion is the work of the devil support him. People who believe black people are the spawn of the devil support him. people who believe women should not have rights support him. people who believe gays should not have rights support him. people who believe black should have no rights support him.

Is it really any surprise that the dying industry of printed newspapers support him? he is probably the only person willing to shut down the internet because newspaper jobs are threatened.

People who know the difference between faith and science and aren't afraid to admit it support him. People who support gay rights support him. People who think that women should have the same rights as anyone else support him. People who are pro-choice support him. new school oil--didn't know there were two different schools--support him.

In fact, about the only people that don't support Romney are the folks that want to see our civil rights abolished and send us back to the surfdom of the 15th Century.

The only people who support him and those things are the gullible. Sorry, but he is a fascist. He may be a fascist in the way you want him to be, but he certainly is not modern, nor does science and rights have anything to do with his platform or that of the republicans.

Rights? Civil rights are the last thing on the Libbo platform. They want to abolish the 1st and 2nd Amendments. They favor Obama care. Big cradle to grave government. Libbos support rights. Whateva!

Surely you missed a few groups who are victims of all things Republican?
and it seems there really are people out there who see themselves as victims.
Truth of the matter is, most of that type of victims willingly put themselves into bad positions and when the fertillizer hits the ventilator, it is never their own fault....

I've spent 27 years working as an R&D Tech/Engineer designing among other things, fusion energy research diagnostics.


I support Romney because I think he'll bring sanety back to our spending and priorities for Government Lab Science.


The idiocy of NASA's primary mission being the goal of making muslims feel good about their contributions to math and science could only have come from a wacko like Obama and his adminstration.
