Go Bruce...even though the Republicans have tried to hijack you and your music for decades, you have stood steadfast in your support for the everyday people.

Good going, man.:2wave:

Rather drool over Katy Perry .. nod...... now Bruce and Katy would be cool :)

If he was "in support of the everyday people", he would have been at the NJ shore this last week donating some of his millions and flying in supplies for the people in the area that put him on the map and made him a fortune.

Oh yeah, that man cares about the everyday people, yes he does.

Has Obama EVER campaigned somewhere OTHER than a college campus?

Ironic...

Mr. "Born in the USA" is singing for an authoritarian fascist.

Chris Christie loves Bruce, but the feeling isn't mutual.

Hey, chill out! You guys still have Ted "I **** my pants to fail the draft physical" Nugent!

And being transported at taxpayer's expense.

Bruce Springsteen To Fly On Air Force One To Ohio

To the delight of pool reporters, Bruce Springsteen will fly on Air Force One for his Monday rally in Columbus, Ohio, with President Barack Obama. Springsteen will fly separately for their second joint event in Iowa, however.

From the White House pool report:

Call it Air Force Born To Run Baby!!!! Springsteen will be on Air Force One today from Madison to Columbus. The Boss will fly separately from Columbus to Des Moines for the last rally. So says spokeswoman Jen Psaki.

Springsteen is a performer who got wealthy and isn't trying to hold public office. This is the USA and he can support whomever he wants.

Romney is a uber-rich who wants to stink the country up even worse than it was by the time Bush got done with us.

There is a difference between singer and presidential candidate.

As for Christie being a Bruce groupie; well, his politics just don't square with his musical idiol. Tuff titties.

You didn't expect Mr. "I care about the everyday people" to spend part of his own multi million dollar fortune, did you?

Meanwhile, back at the Shore, people are freezing and can't access drinking water.

I thought he was a Marxist communist?? Im confused

No difference really...

I would label Obama an authoritarian pseudo-socialist/capitalist fascist...

Do I believe Obama is a Marxist? yes, however he can't employ his philosophy given our set of present laws and civil rights. That's what makes Obama a fascist - he manipulates the system using authoritarian tactics in a progressive fashion.

I didn't mention Christie so I have no clue why you think I care about Christie?

Nobody said Springsteen was running for any office. Someone did say how much Springsteen cares about the "everyday person" though.

I remember when Reagan paraphrased and used Springsteen's lyrics as a testimonial of some kind...Reagan and the Republicans have been trying to highjack Springsteen and all kinds of other music and use them without permission and have had to had cease and desist orders sent out countless times; even McCain having done so with some song or other that eludes me, at the moment. Good thing that the Republicans do have Clint Eastwood in their pocket...pffftttt.

Why does a one percenter like Springsteen get a free ride on Air Force One?

No difference really...
Uhh communism and fascism are a huge difference.

I would label Obama an authoritarian pseudo-socialist/capitalist fascist...
Thats quite the combination. I would label him a corporatist-capitalist.

Do I believe Obama is a Marxist? yes,
Based off what?

however he can't employ his philosophy given our set of present laws and civil rights. That's what makes Obama a fascist - he manipulates the system using authoritarian tactics in a progressive fashion.
So bascially what your saying is "i believe he is a Marxist based off nothing no proof but i just believe deep down inside thats how he feels"

Ironic...

Mr. "Born in the USA" is singing for an authoritarian fascist.

Still missing what that song was about, aren't you?

I'm a big Bruce fan, but I won't be joining him in voting for Obama.

Chris Christie loves Bruce, but the feeling isn't mutual.

I would say Christie loves his music and maybe not so much the man and especially not his idiotic politics.

Ironic...

Mr. "Born in the USA" is singing for an authoritarian fascist.

To some libertarians, it appears that anybody who believes in red stop lights and free public education is an authoritarian fascist.

How come a one percenter like Springsteen is getting free rides to Obama rallies on Air Force One?
