Who do you trust? --- REALLY, Mr. President?

Oh I know there are 'bots' on here. I can name two right off and I'm fairly new. I think the DNC is who pays them and tells them what to say. It is clear, they never have a thought in their heads and they are just parroting someone else. Case in point: the Benghazi mess. The minute there was a denial of ordering a stand down there, they are on here posting exact times of drone arrival as though someone had a little Benghazi stopwatch set at exact Greenwich time. That and their excessive post counts make them look patently stupid and paid! But how else will they make a buck~! LOL. I have also noticed some one the forums for China who I think are being paid to post and say what they are told.

There are plenty of right-wing bots, too.

i don't trust any mainstream politician. that includes obamney and rombama. but, my grandma is on a fixed government pension/government healthcare, so i'll vote for her. 4 more for obamney.

No doubt. The right wing bots typically are the very radical conservatives who worship Limbaugh and Beck to high heaven. When I see those two quoted ad infinitum, I know.

Obama has stated he will cut SS and downgrade Medicare. Tread softly little one~

I'm sure there are plenty in between. No guerrilla pundit campaign would succeed if it featured only the extremes.

I guess I'm a 'blue dog'. I'm a registered democrat, but I can't support most of their policies of late.

No, not in the least. Your outlook is what makes it more likely.

See, here we go.....This is why Pauliacs are just as annoying as radical libs....They make comments like this one, as they look down their noses and ponder to themselves how superior they think they are to the 'little people' that don't think like they do.

I'm neither a Ron Paul supporter nor a radical lib -- I simply refuse to sit quietly when I'm told that casting my vote according to my conscience in any way contributes to the problem.

You all speak of Romney as if he is the best thing since sliced bread. I have said this before, and I will certainly say it again. Mitt Romney is not as perfect as you make him out to be. I agree in some cases he is better than Obama, but you all must be open minded and rational and see that Romney has flaws. In some regards there are candidates that might be more suited for the job. This has gotten out of control. While I do not support President Obama in full I do recognize that over his term some things have been accomplished, I also realize that he fell short on many things. You all need to try and see more than one side of one candidate. If you think that Romney is going to be the perfect President that you are fooling yourself. No candidate is perfect, stop acting like it.

Since you know Obama so well  it's obvious you've totally boughten into the crap that the right-wing constantly spews.

If YOU are unaware of the facts he stated, then you must have been living under a rock, or listen only to the Obama-approved news outlets.

Good for you.....But don't for one second think that someone casting their vote for a Romney, or Obama isn't casting their vote according to their own conscience either.

I am not saying that is what you personally are doing and if that was how I came off in my response to your post I apologize, but, the fact that you plan on casting your vote for Stein, or Paul, or Rosanne for that matter doesn't change who will become our President in the end, and it isn't going to be one of the many star wars bar room scene that makes up the third party candidates.

So I guess I am saying that your thought of voting for Stein is wonderful, but it won't matter a whit in the end. It's kind of like saying that a bear farted in the woods....How do you know?

"perfect"? I don't think I have seen anyone say that he is perfect... Better than Obama, and a different economic course that is the hope to change this morass? Absolutely.

Then you can't really trust either of them -- neither of them even knows where your interests lie, so how could they possibly work for the "common" interest? They've both been caught in outright lies, which isn't very trustworthy. They've both demonstrated that they will do and say whatever it takes to get elected -- like pretty much any other major-party Presidential candidate of the last few decades.

You can object to that kind of behavior all you want, but you've described the behavior of every elected official who had to sell their souls in order to win -- not just Obama.

The partisanship was pretty strong with Bush and a variety of other past Presidents as well.

Please do not presume to speak for anybody but yourself. Unless, of course, it is your intent to be laughed at -- in which case, carry on.

Laugh if you want - this is a public debate board and I am a citizen of the USA.

I speak my mind - formed from my own analysis of what I see being acted out on the national scene. I think there are plenty of people who share my distrust of Obama to attend to the national interests of the USA. I have watched him for four years using the office to deliver money and support for the narrow interests of the people who fund his campaigns and (are foolish enough to) vote for him as an unthinking mass.

I was in political disagreement with Obama from the beginning but I thought he would be better than Hillary, and when he was elected, I had high hopes that he would at least serve to heal the racial divide created in this nation for the past 4 decades - starting with LBJ. The biggest disappointment I have with Obama is his actions to exacerbate the racial divisiveness in the country.

His stimulus went to pay back big campaign donors and union thugs.

His 'obamacare' is just another bid to expand government at the expense of private enterprise.

His foreign policy has proven to be as far from American tradition as can be imagined. It is difficult to analyze his official statements and actions as anything other than a concerted effort to appease Muslims, weaken our influence, and 'bring America down to size.'

You can try to refute any of these opinions of mine or you can laugh at them. I will respond to your defense of your position and I will ignore the hyena-laughter.

If 0 wins, I'm waiting with baited breath for him to say all the problems were caused by the previous administration, since HE would be the 'previous administration!

LOL - and in that case he would be correct!!!!!

No, I don't think he personally does, but I do think he is psychologically fragile enough to assemble younger bots to monitor these boards for him. I really think we have some in here....Think about the "truth squads"

I have been on a number of political forums and the "bots" are prevalent. Their characteristic is that they reply immediately with the latest talking point. They never have any commentary that seems to come from personal experience - They all say the same thing and have absolutely no shame in delivering the most outlandish lies as political dogma.

Nobody speaking for himself, and with the intelligence and interest to engage in an online public debate forum, could possible hold themselves out to the ridicule they earn from their egregious statements.

Good for you.....But don't for one second think that someone casting their vote for a Romney, or Obama isn't casting their vote according to their own conscience either.

I never said they weren't. I'm just tired of being told that when I do it, it's pointless.

I am not saying that is what you personally are doing and if that was how I came off in my response to your post I apologize

Um, well, you were quoting my post.

I'm not voting for a nut. I'm voting for a highly successful two-term governor. You just can't seem to get it right today...

So I guess I am saying that your thought of voting for Stein is wonderful, but it won't matter a whit in the end. It's kind of like saying that a bear farted in the woods....How do you know?

If I vote for Gary Johnson (that's who I'm voting for, btw), and he doesn't win, my vote matters exactly as much as all the votes cast for the major-party candidate that loses this time around.

You are exactly correct. Given his upbringing one could not even expect him to do otherwise. Silly fools voted for him. He doesn't relate to American blacks, and many have figured that out. He buys the ghetto vote for$500/month and ghetto dwellers willingly oppress themselves for it.
