Claims increase of machines switching votes in Ohio, other battlegrounds

Awesome. That would mean that there are no more orphanages and no foster homes. They are all adopted and there's a waiting list.

And now back to reality land.

Don't bring reality into emotionally charged psuedopolitical issues :).

There is not and unwanted birth in this country where the baby is not adopted......In fact there are long witing lists for them...........

Lies Lie Lies.....Navy....you don't know what you are talking about. There are so many kids in this country looking for homes that it isn't even funny. You perpetuate the myth that there are waiting lists for kids....which is absolutely wrong. There are waiting lists for homes for kids that are looking for homes.

This is good news isnt it? we had reports of some machines favoring republicans, and now some machines are favoring democrats. net effect should be no effect. or, maybe, our voting machines are as divided politically as we are?:fly: victory for democracy!

the fact is there are long waiting lists for babies.....and it takes at least 2 years to even hear back after registering...as for older kids that is a different story...buy babies...yes a very very long list and takes a long time...leaving many couples to adopt over seas because it is faster and less red tape and bureaucracy....

That is an OUTRIGHT lie Navy....you don't even know what you are talking about.....you rely on the right-wing propoganda that tell you this crap. I have a friend that just adopted a newborn infant. It took him 3 months and that was just to do his background check. There is no "waiting list" for infants.....there are so many unwanted children in the system looking for homes....but the right-wing wants to perpetuate this myth because it fits their propoganda machine....and people like you NAVY....only perpetuate the lies.

Thats an absolute lie. Anyone who has adopted a child through DCFS will tell you that you are spouting off right-wing propoganda. There are countless children including infants in the system looking for homes.

Just so you know....I adopted two boys recently....ages 5 and 6. Another couple who went through the process with me, got a newborn infant faster than I did. The myth that there is a waiting list 2 years long for newborns is a right-wing lie.

There are 500,000 children in foster care in the US, and 100,000 of those are available for adoption today.

The market is built around white infants. The waiting lists you are referring to do not exist because parents are raring to adopt. It's because they're waiting for the "right" kind of baby.

This is really ourageous. I guess it shows that the democrats will do anything to steal this election.

Claims increase of machines switching votes in Ohio, other battlegrounds | Fox News

Imagine going to vote for your presidential candidate and pushing the button on a touch-screen voting machine -- but the "X" marks his opponent instead.
That is what some voters in Nevada, North Carolina, Texas and Ohio have reported.
Fox News has received several complaints from voters who say they voted on touch-screen voting machines -- only when they tried to select Mitt Romney, the machine indicated they had chosen President Obama. The voters in question realized the error and were able to cast ballots for their actual choice.
"I don't know if it happened to anybody else or not, but this is the first time in all the years that we voted that this has ever happened to me," said Marion, Ohio, voter Joan Stevens.
Stevens said that when she voted, it took her three tries before the machine accepted her choice to vote for Romney.
"I went to vote and I got right in the middle of Romney's name," Stevens told Fox News, saying that she was certain to put her finger directly on her choice for the White House.
She said that the first time she pushed "Romney," the machine marked "Obama."
So she pushed Romney again. Obama came up again. Then it happened a third time.
"Maybe you make a mistake once, but not three times," she told Fox-in-ohio

I am completely opposed to electronic voting machines, unless they print out a ballot that the voter can review for accuracy, and which becomes the authoritative ballot in a recount. These voting machines were made by a Republican owned company and chosen as the method for voting by Republican state administrations. If they are inaccurate in favor of Democrats right now as intentional fraud, then it is Republicans being hoisted on their own petards.

That said, I strongly believe in true elections, and if voter fraud is occurring and can be detected, protests ought to be carried out until voting is secure. I quite frankly don't care who is doing the cheating.

Ah yet another reason I love voting in Alabama.

Fill in the arrow.

Barack Obama <==={

Mitt Romney <==={

Wow, that's easy and there is no computer fraud.

Is that all you got, calling me a liar............I have friends who waited to adopt a baby and waited 3 years and finally ended up adopting a beautiful baby girl from Korea.....

There are no babies in orphanages waiting to be adopted............There has been 54,000,000 murdered in the womb since 1972........Where is your compassion for them?

Sorry....but YES...Navy.....I am calling you a liar...because you are touting BS and perpetuating LIES. There is no 2 year or 3 year waiting list for newborns. Sorry.....that is just a right-wing lie to perpetuate their agenda. I PERSONALLY know of 3 couples who recently adopted newborns. Not one of them had to wait on these so called right-wing waiting lists......so yes....if you are claiming that it takes 3 years to adopt an infant....YOU ARE LYING. Period.

The reverso meme: Romney's son owns the company that provided the voting machines used in Ohio and there are indications that he plans to commit fraud. So the rightwing noise machine claims Obama is committing fraud.

Projection? The OP is soaking in it!

proof? links?

EXACTLY.
The last time I got into this debate with NP....he spouted off one of my favorite Navy Pride lines..."White people would LOVE to be able to adopt a white baby"

One example will suffice to prove you wrong.

Ready? Here goes:

HIV infants.

You lose.

I personally know only 6 white families with nonwhite kids that are adopted, 2 from China, and 4 from black mothers here in the USA. There are many who went to Russia or the previous eastern bloc countries to adopt white kids, and sadly many of them have issues from being abandoned at birth and "cared for" in institutions in ways that would get an American arrested. Neglect doesn't begin to describe their ordeals. Under development is common.
Whatever the source of the child, we should make it easy and cheap for good people to adopt.

What's outrageous is that Mitt Romney's son is allowed to own voting machines in Ohio. That's a clear conflict of interest. No one should be allowed to own any of the voting machines. They should be owned by the state.

This is one of the many reasons why we should invite the UN to come in and supervise our elections to make sure they're conducted fairly. We've had enough election shenanigans to need their help since the Republicans have turned us into the Banana Republic that we are.

Ah... the internet:

What is the waiting period to adopt?

Our current estimated waiting time for the placement of a healthy US-born Caucasian infant is approximately 2 months to only 12 months. For a healthy US-born Black or bi-racial (Caucasian/African-American) infant the estimated wait is approximately 2 to 6 months.

Please note three important factors in our domestic child adoption program.

First we specializes in placing healthy newborns, infants, and children. We do not place special needs children and we do not typically place children whose birth mothers were "using" hard drugs.

Second we use direct placement and not foster care.
With a newborn you will come to the hospital to take custody of the newborn child.

Seems the problem was your friends and not U.S. "bureaucracy/red tape". Then again, you're probably lying.

It is easy and cheap to adopt. Some people just want designer babies....the reality is....you can adopt an infant in the US with relative ease, despite the lies that the anti-abortion crowd love to perpetuate.

Exactly...but Navy Pride and the radical anti-choice crowd LOVE to perpetuate the lies that there are waiting lists for children. It is a LIE....but they say it enough that some people actually believe them. There is no shortage of kids in America looking for homes...including infants...yet....those who fight for the rights of the FETUS....do very little to help the children in need.

Why would they do anything for children in need? People like NP only care about kids before they're born. After that, any spending on them is just one more "social program" that needs to be "scrapped".

NP... this is you preparing your list of 100 excuses if Obama gets re-elected. Nothing more.
