We need a President Who Understands business

Of course we need a President who understands business. We need more Congressional reps who do as well.

Deregulation of businesses caused a massive financial meltdown and unemployment. The conservative solution: more deregulation.

There's a word for that: psychosis.

You forgot GREED. That should be their motto.

Obama does not want to create a new department get it right. it wants to get rid of duplication within the government in various agencies and put them in an existing agency where the various economic issues can be handled all in one place. Decreasing the size of government. Or is that a bad thing too.

Who is the current Commerce Secretary then? Hard to duplicate an empty chair....well, then again.....

BTW, in this case it would be a bad idea. There is no such thing as "business"--it is competing businesses within a single market. What is good for Banks, GM, Main Street, Wall Street, Big Farms, Small farms, etc cannot be decanted into a single policy. You need experts for each area IMHO, and 1 person is not going to be able to do that.

When it comes to business, yes. There are redundancies throughout the government in part because we do not want everything to be in the Executive department for good reason--Eric Holder's safe can't hold but so much privileged materials.

President Romney needs to do to America what he did at Bain Capital.

I will remember that the next time you bitch about the government
