This really isn't a thread for history lessons but the Tea Act wasn't enacted to help the colonists at all. It was implemented to get them to accept the Townshend Acts.

How is it Cuyahoga County in OH is always the last county in Ohio to vote? Ohio has 5 major cities, and only Cleveland can't get its act together? Or is it intentional...

Why is it that ballots cast by dead voters have gone more than 60% to the Democrats in every election?

Both parties have their elements of corruption... which is why I hate political parties...

but any objective mind would have to realize the more dirty tricks in these elections have been pulled by the Democrats...

I just saw this and I don't think this will go over well with older people. It's disrespectful to them.


Plus, I can't ever picture my grandmother cussing like that. :lamo What's up with all of the trashy ads this year?

While you are right in that both parties do it and I have no doubt that there have been elections where the Dems were the biggest villians, in THIS election it sure seems the Republicans are leading the way.

Its not disrespectful in any way. You think Older People don't have a sense of humour? After all they lived thru you think they'd be offended by a few swear words. You think they can't recognize comedic hyperbole?

My mother is 80 years old. She swears like a sailor. she drinks a little too, smokes the odd joint and even chases my father around the bedroom and catches him every once in a while (hes 85 -we can all only hope), She figures her time is short so she's having as much fun as possible. I'm sure there are lots of older people out there that aren't nearly as prissy as their children or grandkids would like to think of them as.

do you have evidence of this voter fraud? how many dead people vote in each election ? how many people have been caught impersonating a dead person?
 
Maybe I'm a prude, but that language is disrespectful to me, and it would be to the people in my life that are that age. I would fall over if my sweet grandmother talked like that. :lamo Its in a political ad for goodness sake, not in a R rated movie. :doh

Yes, I have evidence... I am one of the people involved in cleaning up the voter registration logs in MA, and removing the dead people... we removed around 30,000 this year... and still haven't come close to getting them all... and because the books are already sealed the next purge can't take place ahead of january, at earliest...

I think Ohio said they removed 450,000 voters this election...

but, it's a LONG known certainty... that well over 60% of the dead votes go to Democrats... some often repeat the refrain 9 out of every 10 dead people vote Democrat... It's a technique that JFK used to win his congressional seat with...

Interesting. Of course nobody is saying that there is massive fraud, just that the voter lists need to be cleaned up. Still if 50,000 fraudulent votes are cast that is .0004%. Sounds to me like even tho there are lots of dead and ineligibles thats pretty darn good performance for any system.

BTW, that 9 out of 10 vote democrat. How does anyone know that, particularly since it nobody actually knows the actual extent of in person voter fraud, and voting is by secret ballot.

They don't know who the vote was cast for, but the party registration of the dead person who votes...

However, it's long known to have been a Democratic Party tactic... from dirty politics of the urban centers...

BTW, I know many Reps that registered Dem so they could vote in Dem primaries. Dirty politics indeed. But I guess that is ok to you since it is against the Dems.
