Actually, he didn't spend more time campaigning than working in the Oval office. He did have to campaign though. The difference is, Romney hasn't had to work, so he could devote all his time to his campaign. I would suspect Romney would have done better than he has.
 
It's very simple.

The President will have press coverage because he is the President and there is a National Disaster.

The Candidate has to ensure that he has press coverage also.

Neither is being political. One is doing his job, the other is using his current National attention to help.

Why the ignorant hate? One guess...............

obama may not be campaigning in person, however i'm in a swing state and my phone has rang all day'',
with,............ vote for obama calls', grrrrrrrrr- I finally took it off the hook, the bad part was it was automated, so i couldn't even get frustrated wtih a live person',,,,,,,,,,,,, oh well that fits, obama sounds Automated, when he talks.

I think some people have a problem with the fact he said he would not campaign at this time, and did. He held his "food drive" at the same place where it was originally going to be a campaign stop. Showed all the campaign video's to the crowd, same musical guest, same everything, with one exception.

He had people bring in canned goods. Which, btw, has been stated by just about every disaster aid group to be NON beneficial. What is helping in a disaster is monetary donations and blood donations. Canned goods are pretty useless, but maybe the local food pantry can use it, who knows maybe Ryan can deliver them himself, put on that white apron and REALLY do some work this time around.

If Romney really wanted to help, he would have opened up his wallet or given a vein to tap.
 
The problem is the MSNBC et als want to be able to flood the airwaves with selective Romney FEMA quotes without having to show footage of him actually being nice and trying to help people.

the state controlled media is devoted to obama, they wil lie and cheat if they think it helps him. the media today is a disaster.
