Inner City Blacks Leaving Obama and Democrat Party

Obama is the race hustler, not Romney. Romney and Ryan have ideas. Obama used race for political purposes in his Presidency after promising America that his administration and he would be post racial.

I'm not going to pin it all on Obama. But I am going to pin it on the entire Democratic Party, so I guess that includes him. ;)

Some people already consider them "racist" because they are white and not voting for Obama. I mean, what other reason would they have?!!

But it's cool with you if they vote for Romney because they're Mormons and he's a Mormon, but it's dispicable if black people vote for Obama because they're black and he's black? Is that what you're saying?

Yes, the Democrat party is to blame. People are waking up.

There are two kinds of politics, Ideas and Identity. One or the other or both in different degrees determines who votes for whom.

Dodge noted.

No, not at all. I personally think it's wrong to vote for or against a person based on ethnicity, religion or sex. I think it is a persons duty to vote for who they believe to be the best candidate based on their history and policies. I think it is just as bad for a person to vote for someone based on the color of their skin as it is for someone to vote against someone because of the color of their skin. Same/same with religion or their sex.

Okay ... dodge confirmed.

There are people who will vote for someone because they simply identify with the candidate. There are people who will vote for someone regardless of their indentiy and will focus on the issues only. Then you have all those people who fit in somewhere between those two extremes.

I agree, but it's human nature to root for the home team, whether the home team is white, black, Mormon, or Catholic.

No kidding. But the point is that you seem to condemn people who identify with Obama but not people who identify with Romney.

Some folks are more controlled by their "human nature" than others. That's all I'm saying.

My concern is people on the left who slander people by calling them racist for not supporting Obama. That is sick.

I don't think anyone on the left makes that claim. Generally the racist card is played when the DEGREE of rancor directed toward Obama seems completely out of step with the reality of the situation, as in when Obama is attacked for taking positions that his attackers previously supported. This leads people to believe that there is something going on here that can't be explained by mere policy disagreement.

The left has labeled the Tea Party as being racist from day one.

That's how some folks (Chris Matthews, Rachael Maddow, Keith Olberman, etc) protray anyone who is white and not totally in the Obama fold. Their answer, if you are white and say something negative about his policies or his political history, is that you are a racist. It's not even the last line of defense. It's near the top of the "talking points".

I never said that. please do not misquote me. Voting racist and being racist are two distinct things. I guess it was too subtle for you.

My bad.. you were the guy who said this:

he (Colin Powell) did some good things, I agree. But he lost his mind when a black presidential candidate came into the picture. he became a blatant racist.

and this:

powell's endorsement is based on race, nothing more. He does not want to see the first black president beaten like Jimmy Carter.

And this:

Obama concession speech:

Dat dam honky dun be cheetin, its all raciss an sheeeit,(michelle claps in the background). I be da bes president is hisry, I I I saved dis counry frum dem kochs and evil bankers an sheeit (axelrod seem vomiting). Now I ask my brothas in the city to burn whitey down and shoe em who be boss, I gonna send Biden to Ohio to find dem hangin chads (Biden seen grinning like a cat eating a hair ball). Ah be back, motha f***ers,

Keep on truckin'

Context, my friend, context.

But he's the guy that said I was trying to 'hide' or some such silliness, by not quoting him in full. Hmm.
