Peter Grimm my friend... never give up hope, especially when the recent election history shows what is contrary to Obama's propagandists.

Election 2012: Ohio President - Rasmussen Reports™

The race for Ohio’s Electoral College votes remains very close, but now Mitt Romney now has a two-point advantage.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Ohio Voters shows Romney with 50% support to President Obama’s 48%. One percent (1%) likes some other candidate, while another one percent (1%) remains undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Election 2012 Likely Voters Trial Heat: Obama vs. Romney
All registered voters are asked: "Suppose the presidential election were held today, and it included Barack Obama and Joe Biden as the Democratic Party's candidates and Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan as the Republican Party's candidates. Who would you vote for [ROTATED: Barack Obama and Joe Biden, the Democrats (or) Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, the Republicans]?" Those who are undecided are further asked if they lean more toward Obama and Biden or Romney and Ryan and their leanings are incorporated into the results.

I'm not surprised - are you? This has been coming for the last 3 weeks.

Re: Today's Polls: OHIO!!!!!!!!!!! R 50% - 0h 48 (Ras); NATIONAL R51% - Oh 46 (Gall

Let's be rational. Rassmussen is the only poll that has Romney up. The rest have the race listed as a tie or with Obama being up by 1-2 points.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - Ohio: Romney vs. Obama

One poll with Romney up by +2 hardly means that he is winning the state, the same holds true for Obama being up in other polls.

It's the first poll I know of with Romney ahead in OH, and Rasmussen has a very good track record.

I can't believe that anyone puts any trust whatsoever in polls. You can poll all you want, but it's the results on election day that matter. I'll hold my excitement until Nov. 6th.

Let's see how this plays out with more polling data. I'm skeptical to say the least. That being said, should the polling be correct, it would be a gain for my side of the fence (a Romney win).

Cherry picker desperation party.

One poll, one reality. Two polls, two dissimilar realities. 30 polls...somewhere in between.

One poll within the margin of error -- not significant. Thirty polls showing a similar result -- significant.

If Obama loses I can hear the Obama attack dogs already saying it because of racism.

I guess we'll never know. I think one conservative here is already blaming Romney's loss on some Somalis? :lamo

It is only one poll. And even though Rasmussen has a pretty strong track record overall, they had about a two point Republican bias in 2008 and a four point Republican bias in 2010. Before I get my hopes up I'll have to see some other pollster show the same thing.

The D's screamed when Gallup showed Romney up 6 nationally. He's been up since; now 3 to 5%.

Some of those polls in the RCP have a 4% neither gap which, if presumed to Romney, would make it basically a tie. Everybody is just dancing around the same margin of error of a tie, with poll presumptions determining who is on the up side of the MOE.

Lol, you may want to read up on homosexual Bloom, cos there aint much you believe in that he would have condoned, for example, his specific declaration that he was not to be connected with any conservative movements

Oh... attacking his sexual orientation. Odd... I thought you leftists were tolerant. What next? Attacking the fact he died of HIV?

This is the beauty of free speech. The more you let Leftists speak, the more you expose yourselves.

Compassionate? Tolerant? Open minded? You just managed the Great Triumvirate. No to all three. In one post!
That takes real talent.

I'm guessing (based on some actual information) that Romney wins Ohio, Florida and Wisconsin.

Romney has been trending positive in Ohio and Florida. In Wisconsin, even after the recall effort the Republican Gov. is still standing.

I also have some warm fuzzies for Nevada, Minnesota and Iowa.

He won't win Minnesota. Nevada unlikely. Iowa more of a long shot because drill baby drill is not yeah ethanol! Wisconsin I would think so because of Ryan but I am not loving the non-Ohio run of the table route to 270. He will win NC and VA so I have no idea why the RCP has those as toss-ups.

Rasmussen has a relatively bad track record. Rasmussen does not use mobile phones, only landlines. Nate Silver has said many times that Rasmussen has a GOP bias. Rasmussen owner admits a GOP bias.

RCP has them as toss-ups because of certain local factors. If turn out in NC in a specific area is big, then the state could flip to Obama.. unlikely but could. Virginia is also a toss-up simply because of the area around Washington DC. If turnout is good there, then Virginia could easily flip to Obama.. just like it did last time.

Care to share that actual information?

Basically the state and national polls haven't moved appreciably in the last three weeks. Obama has a 2% lead in Ohio and Romney about a 1.5% lead in Florida. Wisconsin has been lightly polled relative to other states, but Obama is probably up 2.5%. Clearly this suggests that Obama will win Ohio and Wisconsin and Romney will take Florida.

I don't see Romney taking Iowa, MN, or Nevada, either.

Well, Romney is up in today's Rasmussen poll for Ohio and he's been up in Florida for quite some time. I explained Wisconsin...so I'm not sure what you need?

I guess but in VA I think it was the high turnout in Norfolk/Richmond for Obama as opposed to No. Va which is always democratic. Larry Sabato thinks turn out will be less than in 2008 though. I don't have a link for that but saw him on some show about a month ago where he said that. I have also seen a stat somewhere that lead me to believe Dem enthusiasm in VA is way under GOP enthusiasm. Time will tell I guess.

NC was in the leaning Romney but now they have pulled it back to a toss up but I haven't seen any average polls that seem to substantiate that. I know there was 1, but not several.
