While Americans fought for their lives Obama was busy campaigning in Ohio. He wasn't present during the FEMA meeting, instead he was safely aboard Airforce One drinking champagne with his organic vegetable eating wife. The desperate calls for help were not heeded, "he simply hung up when we asked for assistance" according to an unnamed top level source. Another source indicated Obama watched a live feed of drowning Americans but decided to keep rescue helicopters grounded because they burn fossil fuels. "He wants to push the green agenda which means solar powered helicopters" reports Fox News.

I like this one better....

During Hurricane Sandy Obama flew his plane into the storm then landed on the beach being hit with 20 foot waves so to rescue 5 little kittens stuck on the roof of a beach house....after saving those poor baby kitties he then, from his plane, put a boat into the water roughing 90 mph winds snow and hail....to rescue all the people that were floating away in their homes...he braved all this on his own with no help from anyone...he flew his own plane there without a pilot because he insisted he didn't want to risk their lives....After getting everyone he rescued on the plane he made them all a 5 course meal with plenty of healthy vegetables that Michelle made for him from her own garden. Then after he decided that he had just about enough of that storm he snapped his fingers and the storm was gone, the sun rose and the waters reseeded.....the crowds cheered Hail Obama and we then got tingles down our legs.....reports from MSNBC :mrgreen:

How many days until the election? The complaints about Obama are getting sillier by the minute.

What actual value to the process do you really think he adds? Is he some type of logistics guru? Is he a public safety expert? A meteorologist extraordinaire ? What is his real operational value add to such a meeting? What could he not do via teleconference (certainly Air Force One has a telephone) that would require his physical presence? Really?

A president should be far, far away from an impending disaster zone. His presence only ties up resources better used in preparations. What the hell do you want him to do, fill sandbags?

I swear, some people have no freaking idea what makes up the president's job description.
