The strategy of declaring that the Republicans have a "War On Women" appears to be backfiring. Personally, I think overall what I see as the extreme and entrenced bigotries of old Democrats is backfiring as is the tactics of division overall, dividing people into opposing camps on:
Race
Religion
Economic class
Age
Gender
Geographic location
The "War of Women" claim by Democrats is grotesquely sexist.
1. The attitude is that women are only a collection of reproductive parts for which they need Democrats to protect them against unwanted pregnancies Republicans want to force on them - and that all the other issues - economy and foreign policy - are the men's issues.
2. That abortion and contraceptions are only "womens" issues and of no interest to men.
To try to make the election women versus men.
Nationally, Obama has gone from a 14% lead among women voters to a 0% lead. You'd think they'd have figured out by now that the strategy isn't working, rather than doubling down on it.
