80 CEOs: cut spending AND hike taxes

"what makes Fox look so partisan right" is the blatant partisanship. Those on the right can blather on and on about the "librul lame stream media" but there is no denying the reality of Roger Ailes past work as a Republican and Rupert Murdoch's views on the right of the wealthy to control all of society.

Comparing ESPN to FoxNews is rather telling. Are you really saying that Fox should be compared to an entertainment channel?

My point about the short skirts was directly related to the manner in which the women of Fox are displayed, from Fox & Friends with the ditzy blonde sitting in the middle showing as much leg as possible to the 'news readers' sitting at desk tops that have no front so dirty old men can sit there and drool while hoping the bimbo will give them a crotch shot.

When FoxNews gives Alan Grayson a three hour show, five days a week - then we will have a viable comparison with MSNBC which has former Republican Congresscritter Joe Scarborough on 15 hours every weeks. Until then, most of the thinking public will continue to view Fox as a Republican propaganda outlet.

Roger Ailes Admits White House May Have 'Legitimate Complaints' About Fox News (VIDEO)

Ailes- “Every other network has given all their shows to liberals. We are the balance,"

Roger’s Reality Show

Ailes is angry about an Associated Press report that 29 worshipers were killed by a suicide bomber in Baghdad’s largest Sunni mosque during prayers. “How do we know they were worshiping?” he demands. “I think the AP is so far over the hill, they’ve become left wing, antiwar. Gotta watch their copy.”

The topics bounce from CNBC’s weekend ratings (“They have shows about hookers and stuff, don’t they?”) to Fox’s own security (“Listen, one out of every 25 people in America is a psychopath”). Ailes raises a Fox initiative that he cooked up: “Are our producers on board on this ‘Regulation Nation’ stuff? Are they ginned up and ready to go?” Ailes, who claims to be “hands off” in developing the series, later boasts that “no other network will cover that subject … I think regulations are totally out of control,” he adds, with bureaucrats hiring Ph.D.s to “sit in the basement and draw up regulations to try to ruin your life.” It is a message his troops cannot miss.

and you think I support that law?

You seem pleasantly unaware that you're already paying for people to get medical care.

its funny how you pick and choose but when someone whines about Fox news I question if their posts are based on objective reality

I pick and choose? What? Objective reality? I... I don't even know how to respond to that. The Congressional Budget Office! It's the Congressional Budget Office! List one source that's more credible than the Congressional Budget Office! Seriously, I'd love to hear it. Show me how you've found somebody who clearly knows what they're talking about better than the CBO!

Right now, you're lending yourself to the most objective reality of all. It's as if you disagree with anybody or anything who doesn't show you the statistics you want to see.

you are wrong as usual, You THINK I am unaware that I AM ALREADY PAYING FOR PEOPLE? What in God's name do you think I was saying when i said "AND YOU THINK I SUPPORT THAT LAW"

the fact is OBAMATAXCARE is a scheme to buy votes with the money of others

I'm citing a heck of a lot of evidence here, and all you do is repeat the same tired phrase with nothing to back it up. What exactly makes you think its a scheme to buy votes. How much do you even actually know about this law?

you can cite the entire library of congress and it would be irrelevant when dealing with the fact that I clearly know I have to pay for the medical care of deadbeats going to ER's today.

and Obamacare is a scheme to buy votes. do you think politicians pass legislation contrary to that?

Well of course politicians create legislation with the intent of pleasing the public. That's how the system works. But Obamacare certainly isn't just a quick scheme for votes. I think Obama was legitimately trying to make repairs to a healthcare system that is widely considered "broken". He probably made the fix with the intent of pleasing the American public, but I don't think it was a scam by any means.

In that case though, no legislation goes against the idea of being a method to buy votes. Hate to break it to you, but that's how democracy works.

It was a scam. And he claimed it was not a tax. guess what-it is

psychobabble, most MSN outlets hire people based on their looks assuming a basic level of competency. "crotch shots" LOL.

It was a scam. And he claimed it was not a tax. guess what-it is

And you and every other conservative swore up and down that it wasn't a tax -- and now you insist that it is. I can see why y'all like Romney.

I don't recall saying anything that detailed I merely said the entire thing sucked

I could go back and check, but I'm too lazy. What I recall is arguing before the decision that it was a tax and hordes of rabid conservatives calling me crazy.

I know he claimed it wasn't a tax. It was supposed to be a penalty. But to an extent, they can be the same thing. It's like putting an extra tax on cigarettes. That could be defined as a penalty too.

And if it was a scam, apparently Obama had this whole 2012 campaigning thing down like 4 years before it even happened. Apparently the guy you claim can't plan or think into the future worth crap is, by your definition, really good at planning and thinking into the future.

Pretty sure conservatives were saying it WAS a tax. For example, Heritage Is the Obamacare Mandate a Tax? - AskHeritage

It was the White House who said it was and wasnt, depending on whatever the court needed to say it was legal.

Yeah, and we should increase tariffs on youse guys beer, while we are at it...more jobs for us peeps!!

pretty sure you are ok there. Not sure how much beer we export to the U.S. Most brands are probably produced there ... in part to water it down to make it more to your liking ...

Well, most conservatives that I saw argued that it wasn't a tax, because if it was it was pretty clearly constitutional.

Thats legal vs political. Conservatives argued its effectively a tax, because the govt takes money from you. But that legally it wasnt written as a tax, but as a fine. And that the govt doesnt have the power to mandate the purchase of something.
