MA is usually ignored in most elections, as solidly Democratic.

This is what made the Scott Brown election so great... When Scott Brown broke through... it has opened the floodgates of funding and made MA a major battleground state.

There are several tight races.
Of course there's the senatorial election
Scott Brown vs Elizabeth Warren (which has oversaturated the airways for several months)

there are some good congressional elections
John Tierney vs Richard Tisei
Stephen Lynch vs Joe Salvaggi
Joe Kennedy vs Stephen Bielat (for Barney Frank's open seat)

and now... since NH has become a battleground state...we are seeing a massive increase in advertisement for the presidential election...

Obama has been playing defense in NH for several weeks now... and it's not working... Romney, fueled by recent positive polls from NH has decided to sink a bunch of money on advertising in this area...

He has a few great new ad strategies, based off the performance in the debates, and it sounds like the winning message in this campaign... Romney, getting back to who he really is...

The first are a set of clips from the debates turned into campaign ads, where he refocuses on the job creation, and working with people of both parties to accomplish it…

The next are a series of hard hitting economic messages, which show the president’s failures in turning around the economy, and highlight Romney’s proven experience in turning around bad fiscal situations…

Then there are the women’s vote testimonials… showing women who voted for Obama last time and are explaining why they’re voting for Romney… and as the polls indicate, Romney has closed that gap...

Then the others are a series of targeted ads specifically crafted for swing states, which show people of that region explaining why they’re voting for Romney, and why Romney will be good for that state… which complements the whole “A Better Future” series of state specific ads which hit Obama on the same themes…

This looks like an extremely well crafted strategy to drive home the campaign’s final swing, and build on the gained momentum from the debates, and changing numbers in the swing states to bring this home…

I think Colorado is tied in some of the most recent polls, so Obama is losing traction on the economy

LOL @ saying massachussetts is a battleground state. You are right that big spending is going into Mass these days. It's not because they think they can pull the electoral votes there. It's because perhaps the biggest money in politics, The US Chamber of Commerce, is absolutely terrified of Elizabeth Warren getting into the senate. Too bad for them, Mr. Brown it going down.

Right... it's also the scene of the crime... It was ground zero of Obama's DNC columns last time, where he made all his empty promises... and now this time it is where he showed up like the empty seat and had his back side handed to him instead...

Since then CO polls as much as anywhere have shifted, and there's huge pro Romney momentum...

It really looks like it's coming down to Ohio...

If Romney gets the states he has leads in, he will pick up FL, NC, VA... and it looks like CO... if he then wins OH he wins the election... now he might also get by with a combination of CO, IA, NH and NV, but that's the tougher sell I think at this point... I think he will take CO and OH, and it's President Romney... I mean, nothing is in the bag of course... and a lot of states like MO, VA, NC, and FL which show leads will actually have to pan out on election day... and OH will be counting as many votes from dead people in Cuyahoga Co as long as they can on election night, but Romney is likely to have it won on votes from the suburb communities around Cleveland, as well as Cincinnati and Columbus...

Obama's clear, decisive leadership in 1 minutes 34 seconds

The polls showing this gap are liberal ones... Rassmussen has done 2 recently which have it at 2pts... but the polls in this race have fluctuated sporatically all throughout this process...

Most people I talk to are sick of Elizabeth Warren's ads, and he inability to answer a question, without just repeating Democratic Party keywords...

Did you also notice how the presidential polls in MA have even closed on Romney and Obama? The last 4 polls hav 14, 15, 16 and 20... which averages at 16 which is well down from the prior average at over 25

I follow Nate Silver polls and he only shows senate races prediction of win. Other polls, I don't follow or believe so much. But... she started off way in the hole behind Brown and she is leading. Romney has less than a snowballs chance in Mass. It's like saying Obama will take Mississippi.

Actually, she started off way ahead of Brown, then got way behind, then it closed, and it's been close through much of it... Brown stopped being brown and has focused too much on attack ads... and Warren is running the women's vote ads... But Brown is still within range... and this race has been a steady news stream of game changing events...

538 has a 89.1% chance of the Dem winning the senate race in Mass. It changes day to day though.

right... And the chances of a dem winning the state senate race in mass have been nearly 100% for the last several decades... The only two close senate races we've had in mass were when romney challenged kennedy and scott brown winning the seat last time...

So as i said, elizabeth warren had all the advantage in this one from the beginning, but scott brown has done a great job making his case to the voters, and still has a chance to pull this off... He just needs to do something... Rather than just repeat the same old same old...

Re: Great new ads, partly based off the debates, part of the Romney winning strategy.

LMFAO...

So just as a comparison... the two new ads by Obama are;

1) a girl describing voting for the first time, in a sexual inuendo to having sex for the first time
2) a photoshopped picture of Romney on a stool (which looks a lot like the empty chair, by chance), and wearing a dunce cap

Way to take the high road...

So yes, while I give Romney great credit for his winning strategy on ad campaigns... it's also a stark contrast to the other side, which doesn't look very presidential at all at the moment...
