I'm completely and utterly outraged.

I don't know why because it was a rather inocuous commercial that wasn't disgusting at all as noted in the title linked to "therightscoop.com"

When I see a thread about sex using the word disgusting... I expect more. Disappointing thread is disappointing.
 
I agree, not disgusting at all. Just strange. Guess I'm getting old, is this how your relate to youth today?
 
When one signs up to be a right winger, is there a medical procedure that is mandatory which removes ones sense of humor?
 
This add bothered me. I sat here with my 14 year old and watched it and even she said it was trashy. We need to put CLASS back into the White House.

Classy not trashy please. Vote for Romney!

I am sorry, but to see that as a sexual innuendo ad you must be a Foxnews watcher or a conservative.

The girl was talking about being part of the election for the first time, not about sex.

Guess it is true, conservatives are obsessed with sex and anything to do with sex. From saying that raped women have magical women parts that make getting pregnant almost impossible to saying that if a raped women gets pregnant it is the will of god and hence aborting it would be a crime against god to all male clergy panels talking about womens reproductive issues.

Republicans, the party of sexually obsessed/frustrated politicians and mayhaps also equally obsessed/frustrated voters.
 
meh... not a very funny ad, but i'm not bent out of shape over it.

the first thing i thought was... yeah.. well, a good guy is the one you want to be with for the first time.... but in this case, you won't be allowed to abort if you didn't like the results of your decision.

I believe there is... they replace the sense of humor with intelligence.

I honestly don't see WTF all the hullabaloo is about. It was an Obama ad geered to young people, that listed a potload of reasons why young people, especially females, should vote for Obama over Romney. When campaign ads show a bunch of senior citizens lists reasons why other seniors should vote for their candidate nobody freaks out, screaming "ageism!"

Anyone who deciphered sexual innuendo out of this ad would either see sexual innuendo on a Honey-Nut Cheerios commercial, or simply hates Obama so much that they'd snag on any reason to call anything related to the guy "disgusting".

And BTW, I'm hardly an Obama fan so meh.

ROFL.....why does the Obama Administration think woman are stupid....and just think with our body parts? it was an add to get woman's attention through insinuating sex....strange.....I think they could have had a really good add if they didn't have her talking as if she was talking about having sex the first time in her life and made it about voting the first time in her life...but used a stupid spin instead. I found it just a bit insulting...why did they not use a guy and his body parts instead saying what she said.....oh wait...never mind. :mrgreen:

an ad with a guy as the target would not be as good.... for a number of reasons... first being that the President is ,well, a guy.

that was not my point...I know it would not be as good since it is geared to get the young womans vote....but I was trying to show how a young man in the add insinuating sex with woman for the first time would sound very sexist...but a woman doing it is acceptable which I find insulting in itself...again....no need to set the add up that way.....by again using body parts as if thats all we are capable of thinking with....

well, for what it's worth, you probably wouldn't like my ad if i ran for President....I'd be more inclined to get pretty sexual in my ads.
