Obama Desperate Sexual Innuendo Ad [W:52]

I agree, not disgusting at all. Just strange. Guess I'm getting old, is this how your relate to youth today?

Enjoying laughter and sex is strange? You are getting more than old.

Moderator's Warning:
Let's knock off the personal attacks, the baiting and the flaming.

First of all THERE IS NO NEED TO SHOUT, I can hear you perfectly fine. I just disagree with you completely. Just because you Obama haters want another stick to through/beat the democratic nominee with does not make it the truth.

This girl is clearly talking about voting, about voting issues, that people with dirty minds make it into something it is not is just a sad reflection on how disgustingly politicized the US presidential election truly is.

CNN seems to relate the ad to "loss of virginity" also....what do you have to say about them because they are for sure not who you would call Obama haters?

I don't see any problem with the ad other than it being ridiculous painful and obnoxious to even listen to.

Aren't they just reporting the overreaction of conservatives rather than making a value judgment about this video?

CNN worded it "Obama video compares voting to losing virginity" they may be talking about how conservatives are acting about it but CNN still worded it the way the ad reads.

I hadn't seen this, so thanks for posting about it.

Not sure exactly what the distinctions are between "just reporting the overreaction of conservatives"rather than making a value judgment about this video." What, after all, is a "value judgment"?

Really, all you have to do is watch the video to see what's what. Both the audience and the agenda are plain. If I were a tweener girl, I really might just be tingly up my leg over this. I mean, the chick is young! And tatted! And talking about...you know...it! OMG!

Of course, the ad tacitly promotes heterosexuality and is not inclusive at all of chicks who are attraced to other chicks, so perhaps its creators have potentially marginalized some voters. We will have to see. I think the ad would have been more inclusive if it hadn't been about a girl's first time with a guy. Ad-makers could've been more oblique here about one's first time.

it is not a tweener girl but a 28 year old woman who is a celebrity to some extend talking about how 4 years ago it was her first time voting. It is not about a girl's first time with a man but about a woman's first time in the polling booth/voting.

Yeah, can't say that thinking about who I'm voting for whips me into a sexual frenzy. If it does for you, might need to get that checked out man.

I find sex to be terrifying, disgusting, and confusing, and that's why I'm voting for Romney!

Looks like a 'Mini-Maddow'.

Certainly not the Obama of 2008.

He's down to pure Alinsky tactics.

Pathetic.

the Ad is totally suggestive, of a first time Sexual Experience, doesn't take rocket science to figure that out: it is also misleading to young girls, to attract attention'
with $$millions of dollars at their fingertips, for Ads, Why insult women of any age, for a political agenda,
whoever thought this ad up, is NO respector of the Female race, IMO,

I thought the ad was pretty funny. It had me chuckling. It was clearly comparing voting for the first time with having sex for the first time. Why that's a problem... that one I don't understand. There are plenty of women's health issues in this election, most of them relating to reproduction, so an ad specifically dealing with the election from a sexual perspective is quite appropriate. And then taking a slightly silly approach with this young lady talking about voting via double entendres. It was even specifically discussing college-aged voters. College-aged women who are likely a) sexually active, b) on the pill, c) not interested in families at this point in their lives, and d) don't have a whole lot of money to throw around due to their student debt. And whether or not insurance must cover the pill is an issue going into this election. I think the ad was right on point. It reminds voters, in a cheeky way, what is at stake. And cheeky is fine. Certainly a lot better than a deadly serious doom-and-gloom type ad.

And I think the people who found is disgusting probably have a problem with women having a sex for fun, as opposed to having sex to make babies for their husbands.

We're living in an era of highly targeted marketing. This ad, I'm assuming just intended for online viewers, is not targeted to most voters. Its obvious they're trying to relate to and get the Jersey Shore TV show audience to the polls. If Obama is to win, turn out by younger voters is key and to be honest as sad as it is, this kind of message speaks to them.

I'm thinking if this is all it takes to get some conservatives all fired up and outraged then they must have parental controls turned on to block 99% of TV shows and commercials. Hardly pearl clutching material.

LOL, the video absolutely starts out with sexual innuendo! It's a clever way to grab the attention of young women who are probably tuning all political ads out.

Is it inappropriate? A tad, yes, particularly at the beginning. But, it's definitely not disgusting. That's taking it way over the top.

given Obama's drug addled past I suspect one is far more likely to get an STD from Obama than Mitt who most likely has only been with one woman and she only with him

So odds are he's been having lousy sex all his life.

ANOTHER reason not to vote for Romney.

DISGUSTING: New Obama ad asks who would you rather do it with, Obama or Romney? » The Right Scoop -

"Talk about desperation. They’ve finally sunken to a new low trying to get the youth vote by comparing voting for the first time to having sex for the first time. “You’re first time shouldn’t be with just anybody. You wanna do it with a great guy…”'

(sorry I am not sure how to imbed)

*rabble rabble* How dare sex be mentioned in public. It's only acceptable to use gun cross hairs in ads or talk about 2nd amendment actions!

Totally Obama.

Man's got abs.

I don't have a problem with the ad...I think it's actually quite clever.

I AM disappointed that Obama's campaign has determined that this is a good way to appeal to youngsters. On the one hand, young rational thinkers should be offended by this ad. On the other hand, if this ad DOES appeal to youngsters, it doesn't have much good to say about young people's intelligence.
