The “very big” announcement reality TV mogul Donald Trump promised is … an offer to donate $5 million to charity if President Obama releases his college records and applications and passport records and applications. Deadline: October 31st, 5 pm.
Trump calls it “a deal that I don’t believe he can refuse,” so while this web video leaves something to be desired, someone’s mind will likely be blown next week.
The “Apprentice” star has previously suggested that Mitt Romney demand Obama’s college and passport records in exchange for his tax returns. Some conservatives believe that Obama’s transcripts will prove that he was a bad student who benefited from affirmative action. The desire for Obama’s passport stems from a conspiracy theory that he used a non-American passport to travel to Pakistan in 1981.

It's a three-part publicity event. The first publicity stunt was announcing that there will be something coming. The second publicity stunt was announcing that there might be something attached to that promised something, and I'll give charitable donations (further upping the ante with the publicity stunt and Trump's philanthropic ego boost). The third publicity stunt is in the announcement of either decline or acceptance of the offer. Either of which outcome supposedly is meant to make Trump look good, and Obama look bad. There's nothing there​. It's just an opportunity for Trump to once again try to develop his own prestige.

It's crap.

Are you freaking serious !!!! 2 weeks before the election and he pulling crap like that !!!. Okay lets say that Obama take him up on his offer, then pundits would hammer him about going down to Trumps level 2 weeks before a crucial election. He is in a no win situation.

Really, though, if someone made that deal to me? If I could easily get $5 million donated to PAWS, a no-kill animal shelter in Chicago? I'd do something as innocuous in a New York Minute.

While I see the sarcasm in your point I believe there is an underlying point. WHY doesn't someone like Weinstien, Speilberg, 'whoever' make the same offer to Romney? YOU are 'tied into' that circle. Can't YOU motivate them to pull the same stunt?
 
He had a story on Obama's cocaine use and was asked to not go forward.. so he put this together quickly...

I was hoping for Odinga..

Me too. I would donate all of it to the LORD OF THE RINGS MOVIE MUSEUM in southeast Michigan.
 
Obama should just ignore this clown. The only segment that would get all puff up about it is fox news and birthers which neither were going to vote for him anyway. I would advise republicans to be very careful about this because it may blow up in the GOP face because americans are so sick and tired of this birther crap.

I tried to take Stevie into it but he kept moaning about "people just don't buy the tickets like they used to". Weinstein no longer talks to me when I criticized him for making $ 20 mil from the Lord of the Rings movies despite doing nothing for them. Babs is mad at me because I said her nose looked big in the morning light as the sun came up and I am no longer welcome.

It's a sure thing OBAMA won't take him up on it. I suspect for a couple of reasons: First, his method of entrance and scholarship; Second, the kinds of classes he concentrated on. Oh, what a field day the press would have with THOSE.
 
I think Obama should agree, but only on the condition that Trump submit a sample of that badger on top of his head for chemical analysis.

I think the story was on Obama dealing cocaine while in college. I can't imagine why Obama would turn down this offer. What's he fear? He's the smartest president we've ever had. Bush, Kerry, McCain....everybody either released their college records or the media obtained them and published them. What's so special about Obama's? He could request the money be given to his destitute brother George in Kenya. And his aunt and uncle hiding out in the US. How can he turn it down?
