Romney Surges. Hope and Change Over

And it says you have a very low opinion of the education and motivations of women and minorities. Maybe you're right, and if so, this country is pretty much effed.

this country, as it always has, elects the politicians it deserves

my point was to observe that romney's campaign rally attracted only one demographic: white males

Did you use a magnifying glass when you perused the picture? Do you have a ledger with category columns as you count the people? Do you report your findings to Obama's "Diversity Czar"?

no, i looked and identified a prevalence of white males attending the romney campaign event
is there another way to better assess who was in attendance

Did more white people vote for Obama than black people in 2008?

That's a LOT of people to summize so quickly. I assure you, there are a TON of women at that rally. They're mostly white, as are virtually all political stump rallies. Minorities don't really wander that way for anyone. They certainly aren't for Obama or Biden lately in any impressive numbers like Romney's.

I saw people in attendance. Why do you judge people by the color of their skin and their genitals?

but i did not see any of those diverse groups in attendance at this romney campaign event

Honestly, I didn't look at the picture. I don't have to. I know what I see around my "neck of the woods". Four years ago I saw "Hope and Change" bumper stickers, yard signs and tee-shirts everwhere. I have only seen 1 "Forward" bumper sticker this year and ZERO shirts or yard signs. I have seen several RR yard signs though and the owners of those homes are from several demographic groups.

(they were really peeved when they woke up and saw those RR signs in their yards!!!)

This is my experience as well. I live in WNY, and besides one location (Predominantly Jewish area) nowhere near the "Hope n Change" fever. WNY is mostly conservative though, and if not for NY City New York State would go Republican almost exclusively.

That is why I dislike the all or nothing for Electoral Votes in most States.

don't know
why do you ask

there is this new device called google. you may want to try it out

then you do agree with me that almost all in attendance at romney's rally were white males
i can accept 'yes'

I saw people in attendance. Why do you judge people by the color of their skin and their genitals?

because i look to see who is supporting a candidate
is it a diverse group or a monolithic block

you have yet to tell us why mention of skin color or use of the term 'vagina' is sick

Me too.. When an outsider looks at the electoral map of the USA they see mostly red, and a bit of blue on the outside and on top. An outsider would naturally say to themselves, umm.. How did that Obama guy win again? Want to have some fun? Back a few years ago during Bush/Kerry someone actually took the time to single out every county in every state by vote. Even in states that on the big map look red or blue, the blue ones have only the big citiies shaded their way. Everything else is red. They superimposed that micromap onto the map of the USA and boy you could barely see any blue at all at that point.

So what does that tell you? Something seems wrong about a system like this.

Why do you assume a person is judging? Could they possibly be identifying?
Secondly, why so defensive about the demographic that largely supports Romney?

There is another string on DP concerning this. I have posted a map much like you speak of. It is very interesting, somewhat depressing also.

if you had a point, i missed it
try again

My point (Although I never made one) was that even YOU cannot deny that in your personal travels and the people you speak with are diverse in their support for Romney, and for you to make a silly observation that everyone (like really everyone) in that pic was a white male, EVEN though you KNOW that it is not the case even in your own neighborhood was downright small.

look at the photos for yourself
attendance was almost exclusively white males
similar to a tea party event, only then there would be a somewhat larger contingent of white females

Oh yes, the tea party. They're racist, aren't they.

hehehe.. See^^^ Well I AM a TeaParty goer and I can tell you first hand that we have a very diverse crowd in our local chapter. Black, white, hispanic, Asian, male, female, and oh, kids are welcome!!

Oh and when we attend events or gather we pick up after ourselves. You wouldn't even know we were there.. Can the same be said of those compassionate, caring democrats rallies? :)

That's sick. You appear to really be hung up on skin color.
