Obama losing share of Jewish vote

But will the converts to "Anyone But Obama" among the Jewish community be enough to out weigh the new A.G.Holder enabled and U.N. Voting inspector protected fraud voters?

How does Mitt not hold their views.. this should be priceless...is Mitt trying to convert them? is there a Morman Jihad going on?

read it and weep:
... In a survey conducted last month for the American Jewish Committee, an advocacy and humanitarian organization, Jewish voters listed the economy, health care and national security as their top concerns. Nancy Kaufman, chief executive of the liberal National Council of Jewish Women, said her group was organizing in Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan and elsewhere on issues such as supporting gay marriage, protecting abortion rights and opposing voter identification laws.
"Jewish voters' preferences depend on their views on economic justice and social diversity, things like fairness in taxes, health care and reproductive rights," Cohen said. "Once those views are taken into account, then their views on Israel – be they passionately for or not, dovish or hawkish – have little if any effect upon their vote."

GOP Remains Far Away Off From Winning Jewish Vote

Well as the blacksheep Jew that I am, I can tell you that in my area the koolaid still gets drunk by my Jewish brothers and Sisters. I actually get angry when I think about how incredibly stupid an entire ethnicity can be concerning their political ideology, but I digress....

To this day I am at a loss to explain why Jews vote democrat consistently?

Tim-

You are simply wrong... Mitt wil get the largest % of the Jewish vote EVER...PERIOD..

well that will make his loss of the election be a bit less depressing, i am certain [/s]

because they tend to be a compassionate, caring people
and they vote for the same
surprises me that is a revelation to you

So republicans are not caring then?

If you really believe that, then there really isn't any point in discussing the matter further.

And we care about the environment since when we gather and assemble we clean up after ourselves. Can the democrats say that? Um NOPE!!

The DNC has their money so it does not matter if they have their vote now. It isn't like Romney is going to win New York with even all the Jewish vote there.

Hey Tim.

As a cultural but Atheist Jew, (not Black Sheep), I do see more Jews swaying GOP every year.
Most I think for financial reason as many are up there in income.
This obviously is not a perfect sample.

Always found this humorous, if a bit unfair.
Milton Himmelfarb - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (1918-2006)
Himmelfarb coined the aphorism on the Jewish community's political persuasions: "Jews earn like Episcopalians, and vote like Puerto Ricans."

I will Vote Obama or Ron Paul!
Anyone But Romney.
Can anyone tell me with Certainty Romney's position on Anything?
Ron Paul Has a Tax AND Spending Cut plan, Romney is a talking head with nothing else to do.

Hehe that's funny! :)

Well, not my place to tell you how to vote but your criticism of Romney NOT having an agenda seems weak. Even if you perceive it to be true, the sheer lack of anything new from Obama should be enough to turn you away from voting for him, no? As far as Romney is concerned, the "specifics" of his broad goal is unimportant as I beleive (Perhaps foolishly) that he intends to seek out (like the true pluralist he appears to be) everyones advice and will consider democratic opinions and thoughts on the matters that affect every American. This conservative happens to think, for example, that democrats actually do have some good ideas and we shouldn't dismiss them simply because we don't like democrats.. LOL

Unlike Obama who promised to move mountains and stem the rising seas when changing Washington, Romney knows better, abd his consitituency is a bit smarter on average not to fall for that silliness, politically inspired or otherwise. Romney knows, even with a Republican controlled House and Senate, his promises would need to clear a bunch of hurdles, so why make them specific, and WHY NOT campaign on the reality of a broader agenda? In my opinion, Romney is taking a calculated gamble with this approach, but I beleive him non-the-less. I'm under no illusions about what he can and cannot do concerning cleaning things up, but I honestly think if anyone can, it would be him, and NOT Obama.

Like George W Bush, although misguided, and perhaps a bit niave at times, I believe even to this day that he is a good and caring man in his heart, and any of his decisions in office were not motivated primarily by politics. I think Romney cares about our country in ways Obama couldn't care less. I think Romney is a politician more so than GWB, but he's also a well established fixer of things, and the USA needs a some a fixin, brother!!

The Jews used to think that multiculturalism protected them, but now they see it for what it is: a shooting gallery where they are among the most targeted sitting ducks.

Normally a 'like' would suffice but..... that's SO Blanking TRUE.

What percentage of the U.S. voter base is Jewish? Here it's less than 1%.

but their voter turnout and campaign contributions cause their vote/support to be more significant than that number would otherwise indicate

American Jews - Wikipedia
"...The population of American religious adherents of Judaism was estimated to be approximately 5,128,000 or 1.7% of the total population in 2007 (301,621,000);
including those who identify themselves Culturally as Jewish (but not necessarily religiously), this population was estimated at 6,489,000 (2.2%) as of 2008.".."

Lots of Jews are "Pediatric Jews". They do the schtick when they have kids. Then it's back to the big 3; Rosh Hashona, Yom Kippur and Passover. Chanukah is isn't in the big 3.

Republican Jews are uber wealthy, like most Republicans and Republican-wanna-be's and such.
