The people who are going to vote for Romney are the same people that re-elected Bush

Re: The people who are going to vote for Romney are the same people that re-elected B

I voted for Clinton in '96 (my first time voting at 18 years old), Gore in '00, Kerry in '04, Obama in '08, and I'm voting for Romney this year.

To quote some TV mom, from some damned TV show in the past, "Look honey... Our little boy is growing up."

lol... I'm just kidding around man...

btw, did you vote in 2008 and if so, for who?

Yeah, I said I voted for Obama in '08. Fool me once...

Is the reason you're voting for Romney based on a dissapointment/lack of trust in Obama, an ideological shift over the last 4 years, or a combination of the 2?

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being based only on Obama, and 10 being purely based on an ideological shift, where do your reasons for voting for Romny fall?

btw, I voted for Clinton in 96 also

Re: The people who are going to vote for Romney are the same people that re-elected B

Romney is running on the same hawkish neoconservative platform that Bush ran on twice.
Explain this "hawkish neoconservative platform" that you speak of, please. I watched the entire 3rd debate, and I never once heard him threaten another country militarily.

...now contrast that with your boy who not only still authorizes battles in Afghanistan, but went all "George Bush" and attacked Libya and Egypt as well.

No ideological shift. I'm a moderate. I'm a social liberal, fiscal conservative, registered Republican so I can vote in the primaries. My voting ballot is always a mix of Dems, Reps, and other parties. I voted for Obama in '08, I wanted to like him, I do like him, but not as a president. He's failed miserably. Time to give the next guy a chance.

Re: The people who are going to vote for Romney are the same people that re-elected B

Wow false prophet nice. Let me guess when a black man becomes president the world will be destroyed. ...Oh wait.

Honestly Bronson you rank top 5 of the most ignorant people I've ever known, and your in for a big surprize on election day. Conservatism is always what holds things back. It's the definition afterall.

If people were conservative we'd still have slaves, and if slavery ended we'd still have segregation. If people were conservatives we'd still be hunters and foragers. If people were conservative we'd still think the earth is flat and no one would know time and space are different in different reference frames. If we were conservative people would still be trading cows for wheat instead of using currency. If we were conservative we wouldn't have the internet, which btw was born from CIA.

Your ideology pain sucks, but I'm realistic enough to realize people like you will unfortunately always exist. We'll just have to work though it.

pretty funny... you rank number 3 on my list...your post is garbage

Bronson rocks...

Our voting patterns have a lot in common. I vote for the individual.

I didn't vote for Obama in 2008 because on too many fundamental issues, his views oppose mine. This doesn't mean, however, that I didn't wish his Presidency enormous success: A failed Presidency hurts us all while a successful one benefits each one of us.

I don't think that most independents are going to look at the measurable results and make the decision to vote for Obama based on his term's record. Give somebody else a chance, maybe somebody who has actually worked in the private sector.

Re: The people who are going to vote for Romney are the same people that re-elected B

I figured some people are very puzzled and the title is the simplest way I can put it.

Go ahead, prove me wrong and tell me who here voting for Romney didn't vote for Bush the 2nd time. ...and no, it doesn't count if you didn't vote in 2004.

Im dont think thats true at all, yes some of them will be 2nd term bush voters but they arent one in the same nor are Bush and Mitt.

i certainly didnt vote bush a second term BUT i didnt vote for Kerry either.
I definitely didnt want bush in office but the problem was kerry had no real platform besides "bush sucks"

anybody could have ran on that platform, true as it may be you still need substance.

That's EXACTLY what Obama did, and is continuing to do!

Really? I cut your comment so you'd know exactly what I'm talking about. Since it wasn't clear enough, Barry blamed Bush to get in the White House, and is continuing to use that strategy to hold onto power.

Barry? really? lol
anyway there was no incumbent and BOTH the McCain side and Obama side knocked the Bush Admin and it was smart to do so.

As for platforms, both obama and mccain had them way more so than Kerry and Obama still has one more so than Kerry

I agree that it was politically smart to bash Bush. After all, the media indoctrinated the drive by news Joe's and perception became reality. I would've done the same if I were Barack Hussein. However, I love how the left throws Kerry to the wolves now that we're in a different election with an opposing candidate similar in the regard that they're being painted out to be; a "rich flip flopper." The majority of you libs voted for him. Don't deny it either because before 2008, John Kerry received the second most votes for a candidate in U.S. history. Unfortunately for him, Bush received the most. What this means is that either you liberals and ACORN didn't have enough pets and dead people voting that go around, or you are two-faced Benedict Arnold's to those in your own party.

Being condescending won't change the facts. Did you, or did you not vote for John Kerry in 2004? Even that question leaves favorability in your direction since there's no proof either way. You could lie, but then again, you'd know in your heart.

you havent posted any fact nor was i condescending LMAO

maybe you should go back and reread my whole post that you quoted and you could save yourself from looking more foolish than you already have LMAO

it says i dindt vote for Kerry but you were to busy ranting and being a biased, rhetoric based, and hyperbole robot to actually engage in an honest, objective, conversation that you exposed yourself for the biased blind hack that you obviously are lol

Hello, pot. I'm the Kettle. If you claim I haven't provided a single fact, then it's you, my friend, who is guilty of the biased, rhetoric based, hyperbole. I'm not interested in getting into a pissing match with you though. If you didn't vote for Bush or Kerry, then it's proof you're stupid enough to waste your vote on anyone else who has NO SHOT in hell of winning. Congratulations. Way to stand your ground.

Translation: you have no logical path to take to defend yourself I already knew that LOL

blah blah blah, you are biased and part of the problem with american politics today  lol

dude you have serious issues LOL
what the hell are you babbling about, the vast majority of your post was nothing more than a partisan rant, that had no barring on my actual post.

what are you trying to disuss that has anything to do with what i actually said and not some left field rant you went off on? LOL

You claimed I didn't post a single fact. Well, in regards to my media bias comments, I believe I have. And the part about you not being condescending? LOL! Ok, pal. And I'm Donald Duck. Furthermore, if you want to be directly about the original topic, and live in denial that conversations branch out somewhat, then you helped reelect Bush too! You said so yourself. You didn't vote for Kerry. Well, a vote for a third party candidate is a vote for the incumbent, Chuck. Well done. Like I said earlier, hypocrisy at it's finest.

no that was your hyperbole leap, YOU said i was condescending and that didnt change the facts, i was referring to you labeling ME as a "libo".

You wen off on some illogical rant based on stuff in your head and not what i was actually discussing. As a matter of fact you still are, you are all over the map

and no i was condescending im being very direct and straight forward with you and now you are flat out lying and saying im a hypocrite, wrong again LOL

you post a lot of opinion that you think is fact lol

do you actually have something logical and non hyperbole you want to discuss or are you just going to talk in random rant circles have an argument with yourself and feel like you accomplished and said something. LMAO

you should probably start at the beginning and this time dont make it so obvious that your are a biased hack.

Re: The people who are going to vote for Romney are the same people that re-elected B

I would vote for Bush over Obama. Although considering his continuation of most Bush programs, what would be the real difference?

And without responding to your editorial, I'll flat out tell you to check the thread. I responded to said "original statement" by saying that that is exactly what Obama has and is doing now. It's there. Look it up.
