Salt Lake Tribune endorses Obama

The Salt Lake Tribune, paper of record in the heart of Mormon territory, has endorsed President Barack Obama.

The Salt Lake Trib endorsed Obama in 2008 as well, but given Mitt Romney's Mormon faith, as well as his role in the 2002 Winter Olympics, there was a reasonable expecation that the editorial board might lean the other way.

The board notes these allegiances -- "[Romney's] head for business and the bottom line all inspire admiration and hope in our largely Mormon, Republican, business-friendly state" -- and they celebrate his "singular role in rescuing Utah’s organization of the 2002 Olympics from a cesspool of scandal."

I thought alot more of you than this American....I thought you could read better...I called mittsy a monkey in response to turtle consistently calling obama out of his name but you knew that lol

this book is dated, but it accurately described the fall of the auto industry. very little of the auto industry's atrophy was attributable to the UAW

it is obvious from your post your reading heritage tends toward fantasy
which is why you should modify your inclination and read something such as the book i suggested
become informed. leave the fantasy behind
when you read the facts you will learn that the UAW had very little involvement in the near demise of the auto industry
