Offensive Things Said? Anne Romney "daughters/women full of baloney".

Believe it. There are loads of people with daughters who are stellar and it's the boys who are giving them heart attacks. In any event, for a presidential candidate's wife to simply call female children undesirable because they "are a lot of baloney", says so much about the candidates that it is quite a good piece of information about the character of the family that wants to reside in the White House.

total BS.. the reason Mitt and Ann have so many boys is that kept trying hoping for a girl...

this is beyond week... if this is all the Obama fans have.. your ship is sinking..

maybe Ann was just happy to not have a duaghter for Bill Clinton to abuse in the Whitehouse like Monica..

but Im sure thats not an issue for you...

So, calling the First Lady "classless" and a "disgrace" for clapping once at the debate is alright, but this is beyond weak?

uh... yea.. why are you confused.. ?...

Indeed, the first lady claps her hands and gets hell for it, but the first lady wannabee makes ignorant remarks about women, in general, and that gets a pass? Equitable and similar issues, only in the minds of the right wingers, I guess.

Unlike Ann Romney, Michelle Obama has been a political personality for 4 years. So while saying that Michelle Obama is a person who doesn't like to play by the rules and likes to "stick it" to people is a pretty accurate description based on what we've seen of her... saying that Ann Romney hates women or is anti-women is an accusation that is not supported by any history, facts or plausible notions because she is a very dedicated mother. I'm quite certain that if she would have daughters, she would have raised them with all the care and support and love as she had raised her sons.

These allegations are BS not to mention the fact that this entire discussion is based off a false premise.
Ann Romney said:

"I had all these boys. But one thing I can say about boys is they've taught me much more than I think I would have learned by being a mother of girls. They taught me to be real, to have no baloney and to just say it straight and then get over it. And that was a great lesson."

This is not the same as the OP posted: that girls are full of baloney. She never said such a thing. The entire bloody topic is wrong and false.

Your entire topic is wrong. You deliberately presented falsely what she said.

If you go
Ann Romney Says Five Sons and Dad's Advice Prepared Her For Tonight's Speech - ABC News

and watch the interview you will see that she is indeed a good, loving person who always wanted for a girl. But the fact that she was blessed with just boys taught her how to deal with boys.

It is not the ring wing mind that misinterprets things. It is the mind of the fanatics in general... and the left is sadly blessed with the most numerous fanatics.

And people thought that a thread about people clapping was bad....

Sigh.

No, no one has brought this up? Why? Because it's idiotic

You know what she loves? Her family, her rich husband and all the money he brought to them.

Nonsense. I quite liked Laura Bush and loads more than her spouse. Mrs. Mittens is a twit.

See, now THAT is something that I would consider to be offensive because I'm pretty damned sure that you don't know Ann Romney and to imply that her affection is based in financial support is just plain rude.

It doesn't change the fact that in your original post you misinterpreted and misquoted what Ann Romney said.

As for what she loves, everybody should love their spouse, their children and a good life. I don't see why in the world someone should hate their spouse, their family and desire poverty.

....seriously?

I've said repeatedly that two women living together is a recipe for disaster. Women are emotional, dramatic, and willful, and teenage girls are the worst offenders.

This is a non-issue.

While I agree that teenage girls have a more difficult time dealing with their emotions, I disagree that women are all emotional and dramatic and willful. I have known a lot of men that get more emotional, dramatic, and wilful than many women I know.
Typically, teenage girls have a lot of mood swings where as teenage boys deal with anger issues. I have raised both and I can tell you that testosterone is just as difficult to deal with as estrogen is.

G-d forbid that the Romneys should adopt an indigent little girl...keep pumping out the boys....it's the Mormon way. Shame he couldn't get another wife to bear him daughters!!!!

So Mormons can control the sex of the baby they create through intercourse?

Just when I think your posts can't possibly be any more tacky or offensive, they top themselves.

Did anyone bring this out during the convention?

Mrs. Romney said she was just as glad that she didn't have any daughters because she didn't have to put up with that "girl baloney stuff".

Girls are full of baloney?

That speaks volumes about the Romney families thoughts about the value of women.

Binders full of women was nothing compared to being called "full of baloney"

My mother never said that she wished she never had a daughter because we are "full of baloney".

She said other things, to be sure, but not that women are "full of baloney".

Raising teenage women can be difficult but we aren't "full of baloney"

We might be full of hormones...not BALONEY.

The part of Ann Romney's interview on the View that made me dislike her was how she compained about Mitt being attacked in campaign ads. She acts like such a victim, all the while never speaking out against her husband airing attacks ads toward Obama. She acts like the effects of these attack ads are more painful for her family than it is for Obama's family. The Romneys must grow thicker skin if they plan on staying in the public eye.

Pretty tacky response.

Thank you thank you thank you......I noticed this a few months ago about Anne but none of my friends seem to see this and I was beginning to think that I was alone in thinking she acts like a victim and needs thicker skin if she wants to be 1st lady.....OMG....look how cruel the general public has been to Michelle, Laura, Hillary, and I'm sure others....but those are the 3 lady's who have been in the White House since I've been in America.....and let's not forget the cruelty towards the Clinton daughter Chelsey.......Anne and her family will not be spared by the malice that will follow them once they are in the White House.....she acts like she is above it all and should be treated special.

I've never felt this way towards any past, present, or future 1st lady.

sure..... like any wife likes to see her husband be falsely blamed for a steel workers wife passing of cancer years after Mitt left Bain.. and she had insurance anyway...

now show me the Romney ad that called Obama a murderer...

now who has thin skin?

show me..

Eh, I suppose it's a case of sour grapes, you know, if you didn't have any daughters, heck, having girls means putting up with their baloney, anyway?

Howse about some knockwurst?

Religious bigotry is really lame. Mormon bashing is as lame as some clown blaming his troubles on "Jewish bankers" (ie Jesse Jackson's line)

You dislike her because she doesn't buy into the hate the rich victim agenda that you labor under
