Unless I am writing your posts for you and putting words in your mouth and on the page under your own screen name - it is YOU who profess your hate for Obama...... repeatedly and frequently. Go and look last night where I made the post - #74 - using your own posts in which you refer to Obama as AIDS. You refer to Obama as a turd. You profess your hate for his policies. You profess your hate for his programs. You profess your hate for his administration. You express your hate for his political party.

In other posts you use the words LOATH and DESPISE him and his policies.

So unless I wrote all those vitriolic poinson pen posts under your own screen name - it is you who are making things up.

So the question then becomes a simple one: why do you get all beat on your chest loud and proud in post after post and in thread after tread but now are trying to weasel out of it?

You cannot pretend that you can hate, loathe and despise so much about Barack Obama that you can profess hate for his administration, for his presidency, for his programs, for his ideas, for his competence, for his party but somehow someway all that professed HATE, LOATHING and DESPISING does not add up to you hating Obama? You seem to be operating under the self imposed belief that if you repeat something enough times it will transform itself from your own beliefs to that of reality.

I have made two things very clear to you:

1 - I was NOT quoting any specific person

2- I was characterizing the right wing and its hate for Obama.

If there is something about either of those statements which require further explanation so that it dispels you of your false beliefs about what I said, I will be happy to go over it with you...........................

Yes Romney supports more anti-2nd amendment legislation. However after the Brady Bill debacle the anti-2nd amendment libs learned to wait until there is no threat of negative political consequences before trying to enact more anti-2nd amendment legislation. So regardless if it is Romney or Obama wins they will push for more anti-2nd amendment legislation when there is no threat of negative political consequences.

And sadly, those who actually have to vote to pass such bills never suffer the political consequences, or rarely do anyhow...

The general American public is too god damned ignorant to realize that the congress NOT the President is responsible for passing these bills in the first place. They get pissed at the President for signing stuff and ignore their reps and senators who voted for it in order to get it to the President.

The president could have vetoed the bill.So yes he is responsible for passing the bills in the first place.He is just as guilty as the senators and congressmen who wrote and passed the bills. The only time the president the president has no responsibility for a bill passing is if he vetoes the bill and 2/3rds of congress overrides his veto. Out of all the presidential vetoes only a 110 were overridden.
