If you watch videos and look at Romney's various political positions on Youtube, you will find he is a huge flip-flopper. He wants to cut spending on certain items I don't agree wit to give more money back to the people--however we all know who will get the biggest chunk and who will not. Giving money back to people didn't help Bush's economy and will likely not have an effect on Romney's in my opinion. Giving control to state governors is not a hot idea especially if you are in Scott Walker's state, who likes to cut helpful programs so he can literally pay people to come here, but guess what--no requirement to make jobs and not many have been created. Romney is interested in Walker's policies and even took his running mate form Walker's government.
What makes this bad is they cut not only welfare--which I believe should have been after he created jobs here not before--but also reduced numbers/spending on the police, fire department, and teachers. So if a person in my state's safety is compromised or they aren't learning much...basically Walker caused it.
Romney thinks allowing the factories to allow more pollutants out will create more jobs. However, why is it worth the risk of drinking or using polluted water or having coughing fits on smog days?
I happen to like unions and they hadn't been touched much before modern times. Having a union means someone will get decent pay and not minimum wage for jobs that are dangerous. If I had to say become a person who had to work with devices with cutting tools in them--I definitely would not consider it at all for $7.25 an hour. That would make it hard to pay for any hospital bills.
I really don't see the sense of workplaces cutting jobs for anything. If people can't afford buying the product, how is that beneficial for profits? I don't see why businesses would even have to do that if Romney doesn't win.
All in all, it seems more like Romney is looking out more for business owners than regular Americans, as then they will be able to profit more at the expense of their employees. Americans in my opinion, need to stand up for basic rights and freedoms again instead of just bowing to whoever holds the power.
