This guy is amazing.. etche-sketch Romney strikes again!

Mitt Romney Abortion Stance Changes, As Candidate Says He Won't Push To Restrict Access

err that is a 180 compared to Romney a few weeks and months back...

How can anyone take this fool seriously?

Well, he is just flipping back to stances he held before he go into the whole "become president thing." To be fair, he would've never made it out of the primaries without taking a pro-life stance. I do not fault him for going back to his pro-choice ideals that he ran on in 1994 and 2002.

Is the quote you highlighted the worst part of the article? If so, you lose.

There is nothing there that I can see - tell me what the big 'flip-flop' is.

Do you think - no sane person could think this - that in order to have a 'pro-life' view of the world that you have to be some wild eyed idiot who attacks Planned Parenthood 24/7?

Pro-lifers have learned to live with the abominable fallout from the Roe decision decades ago. It has become the law of the land - although it is a bad law. Conservatives live within the law without rioting, as you may have noticed.

There are much bigger issues for a presidential campaign to be waged over. Abortion is the pet cause of a few radicals, the majority of which are on the DEM side but a few exist on the GOP side. Fortunately, Romney is not one of those radicals.

Your attempt to conflate pro-life with anti-abortion radicals is laughable, borne of desperation in trying to find something that you can smear Romney with.

Unlike your Obama, Romney is interested in larger issues. We are all content to watch Obama spend his time squawking about Big Bird. Obama is an empty suit in search of a cogent thought. He just got his butt whipped in the first legitimate debate he has ever been in.

His response?
"Romney is a liar" (although I couldn't mention it at the time.)

"I was off my game." (even though he appeared to be the same empty suit he has displayed since he first emerged.)

"I thought I won" (W.T.F. - this displays his complete narcissism, if not detachment from reality.)

"Romney wants to coddle Wall Street and Destroy Big Bird" (FINALLY something his bird brain can get its neurons excited about.)

And his minions breathlessly followed each of these sorry excuses as they came and went.

Now, you are frantically searching for something - anything - that you can twist into an "issue" which Obama can support. That you fall back on the 'etch-a-sketch' meme is pathetic. Especially with such weak sauce as abortion. What's next? Flukes inability to buy her own condoms?

They talked abou this last night on TV he's playing semantics "No legislation that I am aware of". R v wade is not legislation its case law. he is trying to play both sides to the middle.
What upsets me is that this guy had someone in his extended family apparently violated over 30 years ago and he "swore" for 30 years that he would protect a womans right to choose. Shows you how much oaths mean to this guy. Hypocrit pure and simple.

And people still want this Ahole for Prez? Yeah everytime the going gets tough the Slinkly will get going. Apparently a couple of days ago he insulted Russia and they have filed a formal protest. Good move Slinky

Good call. This dude is as slippery as an eel.

So another day, another flip flop ... and THREE more lies:

The GOP presidential nominee is telling voters in Colorado, Nevada, Ohio and Virginia that Obama’s EPA is to blame for wiping out the coal industry. Romney and his surrogates are warning Iowans of EPA plans to regulate for farm dust and railing against the agency for flying airplanes over livestock operations to spy for dirty water.

In many instances, Romney’s EPA attacks stretch the boundaries of what the agency actually does or can do. The EPA has repeatedly denied any plans for new farm dust rules, and the planes have been used as a cost-cutting enforcement measure dating back to the George W. Bush administration. Energy experts say the coal industry’s problems are a byproduct of all-time lows in natural gas prices rather than new air pollution requirements that have been subject to legal battles for more than a decade.

Mitt Romney intensifies EPA attacks - POLITICO.com Print View

Romney thinks we are all idiots, and his supporters doing their damnedest to prove him right.

I bet Mitt Romney, 30 years younger, with his skills is lying and deception as he has them now... and his unflingling ability to lie would get him laid so often.

I don't know why anyone is surprised. Romney will tell anyone anything they want to hear at any time. It doesn't matter if it contradicts things he's said before or in the future.

We will never know what his policies and politics really are apart from his job as Gov of Mass. This is nothing more than a game, a little puppet show for the masses to keep us pacified and make us think there's a difference between Republicans and Democrats. Just the wool which is pulled over the eyes. Obama does the same ****.

Democrat does it, its called evolving and should be applauded. Republican does it and its called flip flopping and is an outrage. Did I get that right?

It's all in the smile. One Obama smile = 5 Romney smiles. If Obama can say a lie and then smile in that cute way he does it, all is forgiven. But when Romney changes his mind he is actually serious about it.

As they were explaining on MSNBC, they can't argue the issues so they have to destroy Romney personally. The Democrat campaign has become almost singularly character assasination against Romney.

Now, let's apply this "forgiveness" of a change of stand as the "fall out" of Roe V Wade to Obama, with whom Romney is agreeing

Democrats are the ONLY ones talking issues. Romney REFUSES to put out his tax plan.

When a man doesn't even know what he believes, that's a serious concern for most people on who to vote for for President. Suppose you vote for him because he says he will lower taxes for the middle class? What's to say he won't change his mind in office, as much as he did campaigning?

Yes, because the Democrats are the only ones who engage in dirty politics and character assassination.

I wasn't being very serious.

Even a little serious to consider a man who has changed his stand and then back again on all issues presidential material for me, anyway, is a HUGE lack of ethical standards.

What issues are democrats talking about? Their continued support for the forever war? Their continued support of crony capitalism? Their continued support for Big Brother tactics at home? Their continued support for expanding the government against our freedom and liberty? Cause that's what the Republicans are talking about too.

I'm against gay marriage, but now I'm for it. -------- "I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it."

You mean like Big Bird, yeah talking issues, but not one issue that concerns the American people. Why, because Obama and gang have failed and have nothing to talk about. Well they do have Big Bird to talk about.

Dems are talking about Big Bird. And that is what matters now. Dont get sidetracked from seseme street, 20 year old college transcripts, 30 year old employment records, who bullied who 50 years ago ect with petty things like the economy, the state of the nation, or things like that. We have to focus and find out who really dated a cuter girl in high school and base our votes on that.

Like Clinton said while Campaigning for Obama - the Moderate Mitt is back. I've read some of the reactions from conservatives and they are angry that he flip flopped but they should get used to it because IF he wins - he will be flipping faster than they can think!

I was talking about WOMEN and how he would be at picking them up.

Yes, I said so, it would suck to have a liar as president. But for going out on dating, man, he would get soooo tap that.

Yeah, he gave the radical right wingers what they wanted to hear, now he's going to flip over to the moderates and change his mind on issues for them, now.

How can anyone trust anything that Romney and his magical etch-a-sketch say?
