Biden's strategy is simple.

TOPIC: Foreign policy

Ryan: "Obama isn't bombing enough. Bombing makes you strong. If we don't bomb, the Jews will be killed like Hitler did."

Biden: "If we invade or bomb Iran, we'll have another Iraq. Do we want to bury the middle class and ship soldiers oversees for 8 years with another $50 trillion quagmire? I think not."

Result: Biden defeats Ryan

--------

TOPIC: Economy

Ryan: "Everything I said before is false. I support Obama 100% on all his policies. My heart aches for the middle class."

Biden: "You supported a bills to privatize Social Security and Medicare. For those of you watching tonight, here is website which documents what Ryan SAID about those bills--<web address>--so you know he's lying. Mr. Ryan, tell the American people--how can you expect our hard working seniors to believe what you're saying now when you said the EXACT opposite before?"

Result: Biden defeats Ryan

:)

Yes, debates are really easy to win when you get to decide what your opponent says. Let's see if Biden is clever enough to implement this mind-control strategy.

With a sledgehammer?

A really big f'n sledge hammer.

Biden has working class roots, so he knows how use a sledgehammer.

LOL. "Working class roots"?!? He was elected to the Senate at the age of 29. The man doesn't know the meaning of manual labor.

Joe Biden Sr. then did better as a used car salesman, and the family's circumstances were middle class.

.
Biden attended the Archmere Academy in Claymont,[13] where he was a standout halfback/wide receiver on the high school football team; he helped lead a perennially losing team to an undefeated season in his senior year.[10][14] He played on the baseball team as well.[10] During these years, he participated in an anti-segregation sit-in at a Wilmington theatre.[15] Academically, Biden was undistinguished,[10] but he was a natural leader among the students.[16] He graduated in 1961.

Sounds like a GOP voters' wet dream--a dumb jock with middle class roots. If that's not enough to win over the swing voters in PA and VA, I don't what is :)

Ryan shouls point out that Obama wants credit for Bin Laden's death and ask Biden which presidents he thinks would not have ordered to have him killed.

So Joe attended a college prep school went on to college became a lawyer and was elected to the US Senate at the age of 29. And just where do those "working class roots" enter the story?

He played football well, screwed up academically, and his Dad was poor. What more proof does there need to be?

Actually his father started out wealthy and because of poor business decisions lost most of his money. However he bounced back fast enough to send his oldest son, Joe to prep school. The biggest screw up of Joe's career was getting caught plagiriizing a speech while running for president in 1988. That was probably a plus though in Obama's eyes.

All Ryan has to do to win is say: "Obama"

Done.

All seriousness though, most people are looking for a fix to social security and medicare. Obama/Biden haven't presented one. Most people want the budget balanced. Obama/Biden haven't produced a budget that a single member of the house or senate has voted for. Most people want health care reform, but don't support Obamacare on whole. There is plenty of foder for Ryan to use against Biden. I think we need to start an over under on how many veins will pop out on Biden's head.

Poor academic performance, up to and including plagiarism, is always a plus in lower-middle class GOP voters' eyes, since most of them are totally uneducated and couldn't write an original research paper if their life dependent on it. Maybe Biden should also mention his GPA--that would definitely endear him to the aforementioned GOP voters.

Education is only an asset when it comes to winning a Democratic Primary. When it comes to winning over GOP swing votes, it's a liability.

Totally false. Senior citizens don't want to fix anything. They just want to keep getting their checks, and so any mention that the current system might change will irk them.

Case closed.

The OP isn't just partisan worthless, it is juvenile reasoning.

To win, Ryan just has to quote Biden himself. The middle class has really been hurting under Obama and they are going to raise taxes by over a trillion dollars.

Actually, that is just a generalization that you made up:

CNN/ORC Poll. Sept. 9-11, 2011. N=1,038 adults nationwide. Margin of error ± 3.

"Please tell me which of the following statements comes closest to your opinion about the Social Security program. The Social Security program has no serious problems, certainly none that require changing the current system. Social Security has minor problems that can be fixed with minor changes to the current system. Social Security's problems are serious and can be fixed only with major changes to the current system. Social Security's problems are so bad that the system should be replaced."

Doesn't need changes 4%
Needs minor changes 28%
Needs major changes 55%
Should be replaced 12%
Unsure 1%

Senior citizens make up far more than 4%. They want change to. 95% of Americans want it to change. That supports my point.

It's 100% accurate because it's exactly what romney said in his debate.

To win, Ryan just has to quote Biden himself.

If he does that, he'll lose, because Biden will just acknowledge it and say that's exactly why the middle class shouldn't buried further by cutting SS and Medicare like Ryan wants to do.

Whether it's true is irrelevant--it sounds good and the GOP senior swing voters will move toward Biden.[/QUOTE]

The middle class has really been hurting under Obama and they are going to raise taxes by over a trillion dollars.

Then Biden will just say that Obama will only raise taxes on the very wealthy--those making over $250K--so that they will pay their fair share and allow him to lower tax rates for the middle class. He can then refer the viewers to a web link that shows Romney favoring tax cuts for the very wealthy, and opposing Obama's payroll tax cut.

Ryan won't be able to deny it because the web link will show otherwise.

Whether it's true is irrelevant. It sounds good, and that's all that matters.

They won't want to change anything that sounds like it would worsen their current predicament, and "privatization" is a dirty word. So if Biden pins that word on Ryan, then it's all over for him.

Or, Biden could shoot Ryan when they step onto the stage.

That would also work since it would endear biden to all the pro-gun GOP voters :)

The private sector are dirty words to Obama, yes. The only issue to Obama is raising more money from people for government and to give to the super rich.

How so? Are you saying that gun owners advocate assault/murder with a firearm?
