I tried looking up some comic strips on Obama sleeping during the first debate, didn't find much. Romney's 47% remark had some of the most hilarious comics. ...Think I see more comics on Romney wanting to fire Big Bird (big yellow bird on sesame street, since Romney wants to cut funding to WETA, guess that counts as part of the 1% our national government spends on education).

just google

Romney does not have, nor will he as president, the authority to fire big bird. Sesame Street is run by the rich and they can fund themselves.

Try checking out Fox News. They're the biggest game in the media. I wouldn't call comic strips "the media".

MSNBC, ABC... and the rest of the lot are pro-Obama.

Maybe, maybe not. The fact still remains that "MOST" of the media would be Fox News, and Fox News is Obama-adverse. The case could be made that a majority of the media is biased against Obama, and that case would be more accurate.

Cartoonists and comedians thrive when people say outrageous things. Since Romney tends to say outrageous things, he gets more comical coverage.

By what standard is one news station MOST of the media? By the number of listeners or what?

Fox doesn't have a sense of humor. ...unless if you count their bias.

I would judge by the number of people they reach. They have more viewers than the other networks you referenced.

Ok, but that doesn't mean that Fox is more of the "media". The media is not the people the media reaches... it is the stations and programs that the people who are reached by the media watch. So the truth is... most of the media is biased TOWARDS Obama whilst the media who is adverse to Obama is much more popular.

Apparently you didn't watch SNL this past weekend.

Now I just did, both the mock debate (pretty accurate I'd say) and the big bird (he was awesome).

Yes Romney dug himself into at least 3 holes and Obama just dug him right out by not responding correctly, like explaining how since 2009 the deficit spending decreased year by year (the 1 Trillion is a little inflated and assumed the same rate of growth of deficit spending from 2008 to 2009). Or completely forgot the comment like in the case of the 700+ Billion dollars taken out of medicare for Obamacare comment, he made no attempt at a defense and I think forgot Romney said that on the Rebuttal.

the media who is adverse to Obama is much more popular.

Would you say that the media which is more popular is more "main stream"?

No, I am saying that pro-obama media is mainstream along with the anti-obama media. They are both mainstream. In the non-mainstream media, you have the same influences and others too. But as far as mainstream media goes, all the major outlets are pro-obama and fox isn't, which may explain its success. You don't get large audiences for kissing the ass of those in power. Nor does it comply with what the journalists should be doing. The duty of the press is to criticize the power and inform the population.

Now I'm not saying that Fox is doing either or that if it is, it is doing a fine job, but at least it is not subservient.

the media generically tends to be inclined toward the democrats IMHO because they share that same smarter than thou belief in their own intellects over all others.
