In what ways will the US be better when Romney takes office?

Obama didn't accomplish all he wanted to, that is true. I don't know of any president that has. However, Obama has accomplished a lot that people like you refuse to see. Some of the things he accomplished are things you don't like, but he promised he would do. Unemployment was above 8% shortly after Obama took office. He said he would get it down to under 8%, and he did. THe economy is in a recovery which is a lot better than where we were 4 years ago. The economy is moving upward, which is a good thing. Obama hasn't flip flopped. He just hasn't finished everything he set out to do.

It depends on the topic. If creating a civil war based on class warfare was an goal (which, according to his personal history, it was), then he accomplished that wonderfully.

If making our country look weak and inept were a goal, then he accomplished it wonderfully.

If putting the heel of the governmental jackboot to the throat of its citizens was a goal, then he accomplished a large part of that wonderfully.

2. He said "no taxes on the middle class," then promply jacked up taxes on all middle class consumables, and implemented ObamaCare, which proved to increase middle class taxes significantly.

4. He said "no earmarks over $7 billion on my watch." This year alone, they were close to $15 billion.
5. He said he'd "reinvigorate NASA." Instead, he cut their funding and forced them to "be nice to muslims."
6. He said "no military action without congressional approval." Then promptly launched military action against Libya without as much as referring to Congress.
7. In 2008, Obama was a supporter of Mubarek. After his [coronation], he promptly threw him under the bus, and now Egypt is a Sharia Law, America-hating state.
8. He criticized G.W. for "highest gas prices ever." Now they're TWICE the price, and he's done nothing to reverse the trend.
9. In 2008, Obama was a supporter of the Keystone pipeline. Now he's against it.

I swear, did not Obama say he was going to end the war in Afghanistan? But instead he added 30,000 troops to a war he is losing, and has extended it now to 2014 and that date may be extended. Obama is a flip flopper of the worst kind. He also flip flopped on cutting the deficit in half in his first term. What, you must think people are stupid.

I already have, I repeat:

Would you rather have someone who changes his position based upon negotiation or changes in circumstances vs somone who doubles down on failed economic policies? What is it about Obama that generates this kind of loyalty? How can anyone support a President who hasn't met with his Jobs' Council since January and hasn't met with the Congressional leaders of both parties in over a year?

I seem to have hit a nerve, evident of your irrational rant. Notice I said political personalities. Obama has only one political personality, and that is moderate. I don't know why anyone would have a problem with Obama's pass times of playing basketball and glolf. Romney has plenty of pass times like playing with all his expensive toys. He is also an elitist who could care less about how he effected the economy when he was shipping jobs over seas. I see tht as also being unpatriotic. Many American businessmen are patriotic enough to make sure they create jobs here in the US so that the economy is better for the people here.

I disagree with everything you posted here. Your right wing slant isn't an accurate view of what Obama has done for the country. Reagan didn't get us out of a worse recession. We were going off the economic cliff and heading for a major depression. Reagan brought us out of a long term recession by spending our way out of it. This is something the GOP refuses to let happen now. Obama couldn't have cooked the books on the unemployment rate, especially with only a two day window. The unemployment rate had nothing to do with the first presidential debate. If the GOP had cooperated with Obama's jobs bills, we would be furthe along in the economic recovery. Now, to address your list:

1. Obama never said it was unpatriotic to raise the debt, or as you said it tax, ceiling. What he said in 2008 is that Bush took a surplus and waged two wars which destroyed the surplus and caused us to go into 9 trillion dollars of debt with China.
2. What consumable taxes has Obama raised on the Middle CLass? I don't see he raised taxes on anyone.
3. I don't recall Obama saying no taxes on Seniors making less than 50K.
4. I admit I don't know much about earmarks, but I couldn't find anything on it that wasn't from a right wing site.
5. Again, I couln't find anything on NASA being nice to muslims that wasn't right wing rhetoric.
6. The action in Lybia was a cooperation with the UN. There was no violation of the War Act.
7. Obama didn't throw Mubarik under the bus. He simply said he didn't know where the US relationship with Egypt stands. WHat law they use to rule their country by is not our business.
8. No president, includint Obama and Bush can control gas prices. I don't recall Obama saying anything about Gas prices in the 2008 elections.
9. I can't find anything showing Obama supported the Keystone Pipeline in 2008.
10. I have yet to hear any reputable economists say that Obamacare would add to the deficit. It is paid for by a mandate.
11. There is no 40% tax on healthcare plans.
12. This is one area I dsiagree on with Obama. He should have closed Guantanamo, however, I don't know the reasons why he didn't. It's not much of an issue for me.
13. Obama was never for school voucher programs.
14. I found no evidence that Obama was for imported persciption drugs.
15. I think Obama has been as transparent as possible.
16. Obama didn't guarantee immigration reform. He said it was something he wanted to work on, and he has been working on it. A law suite was filed to challenge laws that require papers being shown in cases where law enforcement could profile people.

Obama is very competent. I don't see how anyone can see his history and claim he isn't a sucess. We simply dissagree on Obama's political views. That is no reason to go off on a rant about about Obama.

To be more accurate, Obama said he wanted to finish our mission in Afghanistan. Obama didn't flip flop on cutting the deficit, he simply wasn't able to get it done.
There is no one who flip flops on political views as bad as Romney. He has been known to say one thing to one group, then flip flop on his statement before the day is out.
