The system we have works just fine except that for the past several decades our politicians keep on screwing around with it in an effort to make sure that their constituents get better results.

30 seconds of silence on how to actually solve americas problems? pretty much the republican platform in a nutshell.

Actually, the system we have accounts for the fact there will always be structural unemployment and 100 percent employment is an impossibility as people will move, change jobs, change careers, and any other number of voluntary things that would cause unemployment in a free society. Seriously, i think that was a concept taught in high school economics, and if Romney cannot grasp that then again he is just a guy who inherited his wealt6h and power and a complete dufus about real economics.

100% employment isn't possible anyway. There will always be people who are simply unemployable even though they are physically capable of working.

There are 2 types of ads... Ones that show what's wrong with an opponant, and those that point out a candidates strength. That ad was pointing out the problem with reelecting Obama... But of course, you already knew that and just couldn't pass up a chance at an attack.

Maybe it was just a ****ty ad? Your side doesn't always **** rainbows you know.

Maybe it was, but that wasn't what I was addressing... But of course, you already knew that too, and also couldn't resist a chance to attack.

Clearly you're out of touch. This relates to many that have sat at that table or knows someone that has.

Actually, 30 seconds of complete silence of a rather depressed white family does not do anything for either point. How do we know dad and mom did not just have a drag out fight over the in laws coming over, or his drinking problem, or perhaps one of them just got caught cheating? There was not even a mention of whether or not they were in financial trouble, and looking at the nice house and meal on the table they were certainly doing pretty good. None of them looked malnourished. the meal was not ramen noodles. It dioesn't claim he was laid off, fired, or even what he does for a living. For all we know they just found out he had cancer and his insurance dropped him because Romney overturned obamacare.

So yeah, 30 seconds of silence says nothing.

30 seconds of silence said nothing. You implied what you want it to say with your own bias.

Again, out of touch. That video is pretty representative of those in that situation. Perhaps in your bubble. you're unaware that being a very real situation.

Igt is amazing how silence is considered saying something. Not only are you bad at math, but language seems to be a problem for you too. Anyway, you can pretend it says what you want it to say, but i think it is a statement on what america will be like if Romney is elected. prove me wrong.
