Romney, What is your plan?

Obama's plan is to blame Bush. Now that we have that out of the way, we can move on.

Obama's plan is to promise exactly what he promised in for the 2008 election - and did 100% exactly the opposite - to repeal the Bush Tax Cuts. That was a 100% lie - and people are such fools to believe hist greatest and most repeated lie.

Try to pay attention to the libs talking points. Shhh...everthing that happened in Obama' s first year was BUSH'S fault.

Hey, if you want to accept that then I'll concede your point. You good with that? We can agree that premiums spiked his second year, and Obama has created 4.5 million jobs since he took office?

So Justified (love the show by the way), you have conceded:

1) Bush was responsible for the decrease in premiums in Obama's first year

2) Premiums spiked during Obama's second year

All we have to debate is the 4.5 million jobs Obama "created."

"As for the mythical “created 4.5 million,” Obama is cherry-picking dates and information. Obama doesn’t count the jobs lost during his first year in office. CNN somewhat fact-checked Obama on these numbers, but even CNN spun them to show a 300,000 net jobs increase while leaving out the record number of Americans who have dropped out of the labor force and are not counted in the unemployment figures. Under Obama, the labor force participation rate is at a 31-year low (65.7% when Obama took office vs 63.5% in 2012). Unemployment would be at 11.2% if the labor force numbers were the same when Obama took office."

Now I understand that you are implying that the first year (that Obama conveniently leaves out) is "Bush's fault" (god that's getting to be a tired term) but jobs reports are always measured from when a President takes office. Otherwise we would have to establish some magical day when it becomes Obama's problem. It is sad that the Obama administration is celebrating the fact that the unemployment rate is now down to 7.8% after 47 months of unemployment above 8%. Is this the new standard in the U.S. ? Is it OK if 1 in 12 of your neighbors doesn't have a job? Maybe you actually live in Kentucky or Florida. Take a drive. Look around. Does it look like a thriving economy to you?

And what planet have you been living on. Certainly not this. Problems like what we have do not just "Pooff" happen they develop over time. AHH lets say from 2002-2008 yeah that sounds about right.

Clinton inherited a much smaller mess and it took him 6 years to get it fixed.

Helllloooooo

Clinton didn't inherit a mess - he left a mess.

Clinton inherited an economy growing at 2.5%. There had been a minor recession which lasted all of two cycles and was completely over prior to the campaign of '92.

Clinton waged a campaign based on the "worst economy in 50 years" - completely overlooking the disaster of Carter's years.

Clinton inherited the 'peace dividend.' - the cold war had ended the year before and that propelled the economy just as he was elected. That momentum overcame any effects of his tax hikes.

He then reaped the advantage of the dot.com bubble. He gets all the credit for the cosmetic (and to anyone with a brain unsustainable) run-up of all the ponzi schemes that came crashing down just as Bush43 was elected. He left Bush43 with a true recession, an eminent ENRON crash, a national security lapse which was to result in a trillion dollar economic disaster of 9/11 (not to mention the lives lose) and a costly war to fight.

No - Clinton was no master of the economy - he was just fantastically lucky. He was certainly 1000x better than this empty suit we have in Obama. Clinton was an intelligent - and pragmatic - man who could adjust to the changing political scene. He was a master politician and a good manager. He was good with the economy but not the guru he is given credit for.

I think Clinton was also a loyal American - one who really wanted the best for the country and, IMHO, was wrong on issues (I am conservative he is liberal). I can respect that.

Obama does not want what is best for America - he is a radical socialist who is not interested in America. he is interested only in his ideology. In fact, part of that ideology is to bring America down.

I would gladly endure twenty years of a Clintonesque presidency rather than one more year of Obama.

Bravo!!! ... I am soooo glad to hear someone with a LOGICAL mind ...

I have observed Governor Romney over the last year plus ... during the Republican Primaries and before and after the Conventions ... IF he gets away with the LIES he told in the FIRST debate, we are a nation in trouble ... For a LONG time, I have known that tooooo many people listen to "sound bites" and read "headlines" for their INFORMATION ... They NEED to do BETTER ... to READ OFTEN and WIDELY in order to TRULY INFORM their votes ...

I did a lot of work on another site and would like to share it with ALL of YOU:

What We Can Learn From the 2012 Presidential Debate: General: BraveHeart Women

The THREE response posts are a LABOR of LOVE for ALL my fellow BHW Sisters on the site ... I want to do MORE than HELP them ... I'd like to HELP ALL my fellow AMERICANS ... so we ALL get a chance to hear TRUTH ... I am positive the next TWO Presidential debates will go BETTER for OUR President (even with the Twitter Universe - President Obama DID FINE by me in the FIRST debate), but REMEMBER, Governor Romney is PRACTICING his "attack dog" debate style while OUR great President is RUNNING the country in a VERY troubled world ... I am certain he is OVERWHELMED with daily briefings that speak to ALL the problems the WORLD has ... This IS a GLOBALIZED world - one which Governor Romney is woefully UNprepared to deal with ... The world RESPECTS TRUTH ... and OUR great President is the ONLY one of the two Presidential contenders who IS speaking TRUTH ...

Go back and READ ... READ WIDELY and decide for yourselves, but PLEASE, do NOT decide on the THEATRICS of debating ... This is MUCH TOO IMPORTANT!!! ...

For ALL of OUR sakes ... PLEASE INFORM YOUR VOTES ... not "gut feelings" and PARTISAN decisions, PLEASE!!!

Mitt Romney will call for an escalation of the conflict in Syria by arming rebels with the heavy weapons needed to confront president Bashar al-Assad's tanks, helicopters and fighter jets.

Mitt Romney: arm the Syrian rebels | World news | guardian.co.uk

Hmmmm....I don't get it...Removing Egypt's leader in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood leader taking charge. Removing Lybia's dictator was a good thing as long as we were aiding AQ in doing it, which BTW has resulted now in a terror attack on American soil under Obama's watch, while HE read My Pet Goat. But, allowing Syrian's to be slaughtered daily doesn't raise an eyebrow? Why do you hate the innocent civilians of Syria?

Excuse me ... REVISIONIST history is NOT something YOU should be spreading ...

President Clinton left office with SURPLUSES!!! Good grief, I have never heard soooo much NONSENSE in a long time ... Oh, but outright LIES is what the HEAD of your party THINKS will get him elected ... His campaign has been quoted as saying: "We won't let the FACT CHECKERS stop us." ... Can YOU imagine? ...

Yes, I do know you have a superb IMAGINATION!

Wow, all of that internet yelling, and bolded screaming, you must be really mad....:lamo

The amount of revisionist right wing propaganda in this thread is ... mind boggling. And the pattern is pretty clear... Dems bad - Rep good.. regardless of actual facts. Typical right wing American and GOP way of thinking... avoid responsibility and blame everyone else for the problems you were at a minimum partly responsible for. ... pathetic attitude.
