Three reasons to vote for Romney

1. Extensive executive experience. Proven track record of taking failing entities and turning them around.
2. His mere presence in the Oval Office would give confidence to the power players in the economy and would do things to get things rolling again even if he makes no changes. As one popular conservative pundit put it, "The business community is on strike [due to Obama being in office]". Probably not the most patriotic stance to take but it is what it is.
3. If you're wealthy, April 15 of every year will be a reason to celebrate.

what do I like most? it lowers my rate and pays for it by closing loop holes. Totally conservative, and great for the economy because it gets money moving.

I don't think Mitt Romney will do 1 or 2 but that's not the point of my response. My point is thank you for not being the typical noob and coming on this site ranting and raving with no proof of your rants and raves.

LMFAO... yeah... no proof... well none other than the links he provided which showed the proof... :roll:

No one can "prove" what will happen, we can only document what has happened... and what has happened is those are policies that Mitt Romney has had on his website this entire election process... had been touring the country speaking about since he released his book which discusses doing just that... and has actually done in all his prior work experience...

As far as the realm of this thread goes, this was a well stated response, and with documentation... There was no need for this cynical response...

I have no idea what you are talking about bro. Cynical? I was actually serious when I thanked him. I was glad he responded to the thread in an intelligent manner and did not rant and rave like the typical noob. By typical noob, I mean someone who comes on here and states an obviously just heard comment from the Hannity Show/Rachel Maddow Show and then offers no proof behind the rant. Get a grip bro. Just because I disagree with your boy Romney, doesn't mean I can't respect a well presented opinion in favor of him.
 
Thanks for not hating on my newness, I've been following the Primaries very closely.. and it wasn't til very recently that I began to believe Romney would do both number 1 and number 2 (and I'm referring to the post!), that is, cut taxes AND shrink Government. Why? Because he's had the same message for 18 months straight at least, and even though he's had every chance to shift or go more toward the center, he hasn't. The more I learn about him and watch him, I like him. This is a man who cares deeply about America and believes Conservative Principles will restore it.

I'm sorry, I didn't see this post in with all the post-debate stuff... (as I've also sidelined a couple other responses for that reason)

This is news to me that you disagree with Romney...

but I read that wrong... I thought you were sarcastically lumping them in with the numerous other ignorant newbs... once again the trouble reading sarcasm over the net rears its head... not only can you miss it, you can read into it when it even isn't there... when the tone isn't in place to truly denote it...

My sincere apologies... it came off as cynical the way I read it, a hard welcome... but, that clearly wasn't the case... you were congratulatory and appreciative that he provided citations to his post...

1. I believe he better than what we have as president now.

I do disagree with Gov Romney on a lot of things. I won't get into exactly what here because this isn't the proper thread for it. The reason I've been defending him is because A) I enjoyed watching him make Pres Obama squirm so much that I owe him some defense simply for providing me with the entertainment and satisfaction B) The media, and therefore the Obamabots on this site, are throwing around all kinds of lies about the dude C) I do like the guy as a person. He seems like a good man, husband, and father. I just disagree with a lot of his policies and proposals.
