Romney's Biggest Chance....

You don't need a link. All you need to know is that Obama is a Muslim who cares more about his birth continent of Africa than he does about America.

You are joking ... right?

Which is why he's sent aid to Africa than any other president. Waaaaaiiiiit a minute... nevermind. That was Bush who did that.

We don't "tolerate" it? Hmmmm....interesting.

I know Obama clearly "condemns" attacks like the one in Libya, but what he "does" about it is another story. Are you following the story line at all? Obama's administration knew about the attacks at least 24 hours in advance. Then they lied about the cause of the attacks. Video proves there wasn't even really a demonstration before the attacks like the Obama admin said there was.

First, they claimed the attack was a protest that went out of control. Then they said it was the YouTube video. Both turned out to be lies. Not just being wrong, they lied about it. Even to this day, there are conflicting stories about what happened, and is still happening in Libya. The FBI was going to investigate, and they have YET to arrive in Libya. CNN got ahold of the ambassador's diary, ....CNN!!! Not the FBI, not the State Dept......CNN! Now the State Dept is refusing to turn over cables between the ambassador and State in the few days leading up to the attacks.

You don't think the ME is worse now than it was 4 years ago? lol...wow....that's pretty funny. The Arab Spring has turned out to be precisely what the Republicans said it would be. The insurrection of Fundamentalist Islam. That's EXACTLY what the Arab Spring has brought to the middle east. Jihad, fundamentalism, Sharia Law, the Muslim Brotherhood, and an emboldened Iran and Syria.

While Obama may not "tolerate" attacks like this, he also doesn't "tolerate" freedom of speech and expression. He also doesn't "tolerate" a media that asks tough questions. While he tolerates depictions of a Christian Crucifix encased in human urine. As a matter of fact, he doesn't just "tolerate" it, the government funds it in public museums. He seems to be "tolerating" the mass genocide happening in Syria, because the Russians and Chinese have told him to butt out. He seems to tolerate unemployment too, because it's gone up under his watch. He seems to tolerate massive debt too, because it's exploded under Obama.

Should I go on? I think you get the point. He equally condemns freedom of speech just as much as he condemns the terrorist attacks. What a position for the President of the United States of America, the last beacon of personal freedom in the entire world.....

Good job Obama....

Again source source source need a source for your information please.

If we went to war every time our embassies got attacked....

If Obama didn't "tolerate" the video those guys making the video would be serving time.

The video is still online, the video of beheading an american soldier was took down ASAP. There's a difference and our president knows it.

muslim cannot have its roots in Christianity. Islam can have its roots in christianity... and it does, to some extend. It however, has deeper roots in talmudic judaism.

The crusades were almost 1000 years ago... 800 to be precise. there are jihads declared today.

Thanks, I was thinking of the word Islam, which is the religion, muslim is the people, it didn't come to me at the time.

I'm not hateful, and I'm sure not ignorant. I've traveled the world my friend. I would bet you a thousand dollars that I read books 10 to 1 compared to you.

If you knew what the largest Muslim country in the ME was, you wouldn't have to ask me where I've traveled. lol....and who's ignorant again?

I happen to understand the truth about Islam. They AREN'T a violent religion. Let me rephrase that. Historically, they weren't a violent religion. I've actually seen with my own two eyes, a scroll that was written by Muhammed himself. The scroll was only partial, but it was mainly in tact. It was a letter to Muslims in reference to Christians. In it, he called Christians the "brothers and cousins" of Muslims. And he is literally correct. Muslims and Christians share the same ancestors. Muhammed instructed other Muslims to "respect" and "live peacefully" with Christians.

Islam has increasingly become more radicalized. Now, the radical elements of Islam literally control the religion. The radicals control the militaries, the radicals controll the educational madrassas, the radicals control the mosques, and the radicals control the nuclear weapons, chemical weapons, and in cases like Egypt and Libya, Syria, Iran, Indonesia, Palestine, the radicals control the entire government.

idiot, I said describe your travels in detail, not what country you've been to, which I assume is Saudi Arabia.

It's possible you've read books 10:1, though I've read a lot of books myself. It's funny that you think the number of books are person reads equates to how well a person can reason. I'll also wager I'm 10 times better than you in logic reasoning.

If you like I can, to the best of my ability, list every book I've read. I'm curious to see who actually read more books.

You promised to cut the deficit in half in your first term, why haven't you been able to not only do that, but why haven't you even been able to pass a single budget in your entire first term as President?

Because If you knew anything about how our political system works you would realize that Obama has no control over the deficit. Congress does, and aside from the first two years (which they have been filibustering everything) he has had to battle a republican majority in the house and a virtual stalemate in the senate. A president only has so much power, and Romney's rich donors realize this because they have started to pull funds from his campaign and direct them at getting congressmen elected.

What about Obama's rich donors? They are mostly the same dudes who sponsor Romney.

Aren't the Brilliant they win no matter who wins :).

So what in your opinion should we do? Do you have a solution to this volatile region that is part of our global economy? This is a very touchy situation and the only people who really know what is going on are the people who have to handle these situations every day. So tell me what you think we should do.

I actually DO have a solution, and one in which I think liberals would find surprisingly positive politically.

My solution is to get out of every single country in the ME, except one.....Israel. I would get out of Pakistan, Iraq, and Afghanistan entirely. Double our troop size in Israel. Withdraw ALL funding from Middle Eastern Countries, and let them live under the leaders they've elected. We simply walk away from them, taking our charity, our foreign aid, our trade agreements, our disaster relief, and our democracy with us.

I don't think anything short of nuclear war scares these people anymore. But I do think a total American abscence from the region would scare the peace loving people more than anything else.

We withdraw under these circumstances: 1. No more foreign aid to your governments and countries. 2. Any attack against America will be met with MILITARY action. Not boots on the ground, not peace keepers, but drones and warships and bombers. No aid afterwards either. No rebuilding, no new schools, no rebuilding of roads and hospitals. 3. Any attack against our ally Israel will also be met with MILITARY action. 4. If you wish to act and react like a civilized society, then we can talk about foreign aid and trade agreements, but not before then.

What good is it doing us by giving these people billions upon billions of US dollars? Is it making us safer? I don't see any proof of that. Is it keeping them from attacking us? I don't see any proof of that either. Despite the billions of dollars that are given to these countries, they still semi-cooperate with terrorist organizations all the time. Case and point is the Pakistani government. Even Hillary Clinton accused them of aiding Bin Laden mulitiple times. And they are supposedly our ally? Muslim Brotherhood is the same way. They are demanding the release of the Blind Sheikh, and what is grotesque, is that the Obama administration is working on a deal to have him released.

Is it a "touchy" situation? Yes. But the only kind of diplomacy they know is strength wins a diplomatic situation. Ronald Reagan was right, as was Teddy Roosevelt. Either way you wanna phrase it, "peace through strength", or "walk softly but carry a big stick". Or perhaps you would accept Benjamin Franklin's thoughts on American foreign policy, when he likened America to the rattle snake? He described America's military as a rattle snake, that first, a rattlesnake warns you with his tail. But if you persist, and invade his space or interests, he would strike with a deadly, venomous bite.

It saddens me to say, that while liberals are plenty good at rattling their rattles, they have lost their ability to bite their enemies. Russia sees this, China, Iran, North Korea, and all the other Islamic terrorist organizations that are out there plotting against the West and Israel. Israel's greatest deterrent is their willingness to "do", not just talk.

The 6 day war of 1967 illustrates what I'm saying precisely. Egypt, Jordan, and Syria had been threatening Israel for quite some time, and on June 5, Israel launched a surprise attack against all three. The war lasted 6 days, and Israel won a decisive and overwhelming victory where they reclaimed the Golan Heights from Syria, the West Bank, the Sinai Peninsula, Gaza, and East Jerusalem from Jordan. The Arab nations "know" that Israel "will" strike them decisively with their military. The only thing preventing them from doing so in the last couple of years has been the US.

After Bush invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, Arab nations were on notice. Between the years 2001 to 2006, America received more intelligence from Arab nations than ever before. This info was in both Donald Rumsfeld's and Colin Powell's books. Condoleeza Rice has also talked about the cooperation we were getting from Arab nations. Qadafi completely gave up his weapons program during this same time, along with North Korea suspending it's nuclear program for the first time in more than 20 years. Turkey allowed the use of their airfields, and Pakistan was giving us quite a bit of intel. Egypt kept out of all of it, and even promising to support Israel if Iran ever attacked them.

You liberals have no sense of history whatsoever. How on Earth has Israel survived? You think it's by being nice and negotiating their holy lands away to Muslims??? No, they've survived because they made some bombs, and the Arabs know the Jews will use them if necessary. And they've survived because the greatest military in the history of the world has been their ally!

You want peace in the middle east? PUT RADICAL ISLAM ON A PERMANENT LEASH! Ever tried putting a wild dog on a leash? You can't just whistle him over and offer him a treat.....You grab him with a noose, and drag him barking, growling, and slobbering all the way.

As far as I am concerned private donations to political parties should be outlawed. It should be capped at $5,000 and donations to political campaigns should only be accepted through filing your taxes.

Citizens United is a joke and a travesty to democratically held elections.

If everyone wants a third or fourth party, then they need to get rid of the "citizens united" decision, otherwise it will never happen.
