Yes, and a colonoscopy costing $3k is the result of stupid policies as well.
Medical procedures just shouldn't cost as much as they do.
My daughters back surgery came to a grand total of $467,985.87. I have private insurance and my out of pocket was still over $6,000.00.
One tylenol suppository for her fever the day after surgery was $70.00.
Ridiculous.
What is a person supposed to do? Not seek medical treatment?
Per day for a hospital room it was aprox. $21,000.00/day.
