Two Democratic pollsters confirm major polls skewed against Mitt Romney - Arlington Conservative | Examiner.com

On the Fox News segment “Campaign Insiders” today, Democratic pollsters Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen both confirmed their belief that major polls are skewed in favor of the Democrats by over-sampling of Democratic voters when the surveys are conducted.

.......

“Are these polls an accurate reflection of the race today,” asked LeBoutillier.

Schoen responded, “The simple answer is no John.....

1) That article is from nearly 2 months ago.
2) The size of the gap was quite notable for that point in time.

Those indeed were outlier polls, which happen. If outliers didn’t ever happen that would be BAD.

Considering FOX lies about its own polls to make Romney look better shows they have no credibility. This morning the local FOX station aired a segment announcing that while their latest poll had Obama ahead nationally by 5 points, it was a statistical tie since that was within the margin of error. I guess most FOX viewers are illiterate since it stated very clearly at the bottom of the poll the margin of error was +/- 3% not 5%.

Who cares? There is only 1 poll that matters, the rest is pregame show with too many pundits.

Another piece of fine journalism by one of our posters. The question and quote dealt with two specific polls, the Pew and the Democracy Corp poll, conducted two months ago. The poster is trying to sell this is a current commentary on all current polls. It is not. Rather it is somewhere between illogical and lie. In either case, its a pathetic grasping at straws.

The Romney candidacy is current in big trouble. Anyone with any sense of reality can see that. People on the right side of the aisle are measuring the distance from their seats to the exit. It doesn't mean he can't reverse the trend nor does it mean he can't win. Its just meaning his chances of winning are diminishing rapidly (combination of time running out and a bad polling trend).

The title of this thread is false. There is nothing to see here folks, find another thread.

Give it up wingnuts. Denying reality does not change reality. It just makes you look stupid.

If the polls were really tied... we would have 1/3 to 2/3 saying Romney and 2/3 to 1/3 say Obama. The fact that the polls consistently show Obama up, even when instead the margin and the gap trending up means it is not a tie.

That all said, national polls are nice, but not terribly relevant. As of right now, anyway, the only real polls that matter are the ones for Ohio and any other state or Florida. Barring a major setback in one of the states that Obama already has a solid lead in, he wins with Ohio plus one or Florida alone.

It's a conspiracy!!!

It's a conspiracy!!!

You betcha.

When, admittedly, the LameStream Media is biased against Romney.

And then one has the Ultra-Liberal freakos run by Soros: Media Matters, Daily Kos, Move On . Org, The Puffington Post, etc., plus the Monolithic African vote that will vote for the Monumental Mendacious, Racist, Commie/Socialist Fraud Obama......NO MATTER WHAT........IS IT A WONDER THAT IT IS A CONSPIRACY AGAINST ROMNEY ?!?!?

Wow, Sarah Palin has joined DP and honored us with this post, which seems on par with one of her insightful Fox News commentaries. Welcome Sarah!

So...because christians and catholics vote republican no matter what, it's a conspiracy as well?

How about gun owners?

Just because a group votes a specific way doesn't mean it's a conspiracy. Sure it's actually horrible for our society for a group to almost unanimously vote for a candidate, but that's what our politics has become. Most people will ONLY vote one party no matter what. If you do it, you have asbolutely no right to call the other side out on it.

"Monolithic African vote"? Would those be American citizens of African origin?

Look, the stage is being set for the post election world. It's a conspiracy by the media and pollsters and 'monolithic africans' right now. Once Romney has been sent back to the Cayman Islands to enjoy his money, we will find that it was 'massive vote fraud' that cost him the election - not the fact that he has the personality of a toilet seat and the ideas to match.

You conveniently quoted just a selected part of the post.......that's kinda cheesy doncha think ?

Plus, Christians and Catholics do not vote MONOLITHICALLY for Romney as blacks do for Obama .....besides selecting a religious vote for one's religion IS NOT an issue here. Unless you feel that a vote for your celestial Fuehrer is a religious matter.

Gun owners is a legitimate consideration. And, this group votes against Obama because Obama is clearly against gun ownership, or an essential part of the legislation. Romney is not clearly against blacks. That happens to be your opinion not borne out by factual evidence.

I proved my point.

The fact that you want to unjustifiably smear a good man in order to elect a proven POS......who has brought America to the brink of a RUINOUS DISASTER is a matter of perception that I doubt that any one can correct.

Ok HoongLoong first point, I quoted that one portion of your post because the first line was "you betcha"...I don't have much to say about that. It's a term you decided to use that has no debatable quality.

Your next line was about the lamestream media having a bias against Romney. While you are correct to a degree, Fox is also part of the MainStream Media. They have higher viewership numbers than any other news network, and they are in it for Romney, not Obama. NPR is also part of the "MainStream Media" but studies have proven they don't have a liberal bias, they do however have a liberal tone. They cannot be equated to being in the tank for Obama with their coverage. Therefore this blanket statement is incorrect and has no debatable quality as well.

Now on to the actual meat of this argument. If you give slack to individuals voting for their religion, you have to then give slack to individuals voting for their race. I DO NOT AGREE with either of these points. I think they are morally wrong and they are what's wrong with society as a whole. Same goes with gun owners, Obama hasn't done a single thing to make me think he was going to take gun rights away (I am a FIRM believer in the second amendment.)

You then go on to attempt to personally degrade my credibility by saying "Unless you feel that a vote for your celestial Fuehrer is a religious matter." as if I was in the tank for Obama. You really need to not jump to conclusions here and read my post history. I actually think Romney MIGHt be a better president than obama (said so yesterday) but the partisan hackery is getting in the way of him being himself. I also said that both presidents will most likely govern along the same lines because most decisions are alraedy made by other chambers of government.

I am asking you as an individual to another to stop jumping to conclusions that if someone is making a point against yours they are obviously in the can for Obama. That tends to make individuals paranoid and not able to listen to any perspective points but their own, and/or others who share similar values.

Here's a tip for you. Putting stuff in large letters and bolding it is a sign of debate weakness. It's like shouting louder than the other guy, because you know your position is bull****.

Calling the President of the United States a 'POS' is typical of the lack of class we've come to expect from the clowns on the far right. Another sign of weakness.

But I had to laugh at you complaining about anybody showing a 'lack of respect' to a candidate for President. :lamo

PS By what possible stretch of the imagination are you an 'Independent'?
