Voter fraud in Colorado (video)

What's the beef here? The woman did nothing illegal.

The only thing this video proves is how Republican/conservative women are hotter looking than liberal women.

lol

Then I accuse Ann Coulter of being a Liberal.

You can calm down any time. I was merely quoting fact, and don't forget that I did mention the ethics too. And if that was a liberal doing that I would have given you the same answer. As for your accusation that I would do something else if it was a minority, my answer to you is to accuse you of race baiting, which is what it is.
?.......I'm going to write my paper :golf

then why does this thread exist?

That's the big question isn't it? Why does this thread exist? How did it start? How did all the pieces fall in the correct spot to make this thread? What is this threads' purpose in life?

?.......I'm going to write my paper :golf

Haha, your sig is amusing considering progressives embrace abortions and conservatives embrace large families...

As my mother says: "there is no better way to be an activist than to provide me with more grandchildren to love."

It took me all of about 10 seconds to figure out that it was staged.

I would say "nice try", but it was actually a very poor try.

So...who staged it? The Republicans? Or the Democrats?

Wow.....if that wasn't the biggest BS I heard from a conservative. If that was a liberal or minority doing that, you would have a fit right now. In fact, the video would go viral. So please.

Danarhea is actually the most Liberal Conservative here. More of a Libertarian, really.

"Nothing illegal..." You know, if the roles were reversed, you'd be the first one calling that a lame excuse. I guess your problem with ACORN is that they didn't limit themselves to states where it's "legal."

True, conservatives want women to give birth before they throw the babies under the bus and ride back and forth over them.

No, I wouldn't. My beef with ACORN was them being involved in illegal activity, such as voter registration fraud.

I tell you what, why don't you either find a post that I've made where I complain about ACORN only registering democrats, or admit that you have once again mis-characterized my position... That would be the honest thing to do, now wouldn't it?

I thought I would also add, that the title of this thread is a lie.

DENVER – The Colorado Republican Party has terminated its contract with a firm hired to run voter registration and get-out-the-vote operations here after allegations of fraud, FOX31 Denver has confirmed.
The move came at the recommendation of the Republican National Committee, leading to the termination of contracts with Strategic Allied Consulting in seven swing states, following an investigation of voter fraud by the company in Florida.
“The Colorado Republican Party takes any threat to the voting process very seriously,” said state GOP spokesman Justin Miller. “Following an alleged incident by an employee of Strategic Allied Consultants outside of Colorado we terminated our relationship.”
In Colorado, the state GOP has spent $466,643 — roughly half its total budget — with Strategic Allied Consulting, the firm in question.
Already this year, the RNC has funneled more than $3.1 million to the company, just formed in June by Nathan Sproul, an Arizona voting consultant who has run other firms that have been accused of dumping registration forms filled out by Democrats and other improprieties aimed at helping Republican candidates.
And FOX31 Denver has confirmed that the young woman seen registering voters outside a Colorado Springs grocery store in a YouTube video, in which she admits to trying to only register voters who support Mitt Romney, was indeed a contract employee of Sproul’s company.

Here's my analysis of the complex voter registration issues and the maze of political organizations that are behind the possible partisan voter registration:

That girl is hella cute.

Florida Congressman Demands Bipartisan Investigation Of GOP Voter Registration Fraud Scandal
By Josh Israel on Oct 1, 2012 at 12:01 pm

In the wake of revelations that Strategic Allied Consulting, a controversial voter registration firm that has worked for the Republican National Committee, the Florida Republican Party, and the Romney campaign, is under investigation for turning in fraudulent voter registration forms in Florida, a Florida Congressman is calling for a bipartisan probe.
Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL) wrote Monday in a letter to Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R):
In light of the large and apparently growing voter fraud scandal engulfing the Republican Party of Florida, I urge you to immediately appoint a bipartisan task force to investigate the accusations and ensure that the integrity of our voting rolls will not be compromised by Strategic Allied Consulting’s deliberately fraudulent voter registration operations. I also urge you to ensure that that false registrations submitted by Strategic Allied Consulting do not remain on our rolls, and that you immediately investigative whether any employees involved in this scandal are still working for the Republican Party to register voters in Florida.

Case closed, this and other instances of voter fraud prove there should be voter ID.

Not for nothing, but is there any actual proof this girl was working for the county clerk's office? She just seemed to think a real long time about who she was working for like she was trying to come up with a lie to cover for the actual people who were paying her who would not appreciate her dropping their name when doing such an underhanded thing. I also really doubt that the county clerk office is sending some twit to hang out around some store to register voters. Until I see some proof she was actually working for the clerk's office i would have to believe she is one of the many people working for PACs to get people registered to vote for their people. Aside from it being a little shady to do it just for one side, I don't think it is illegal for them to do that. Both sides end up doing it so it is hard for me to get angry at the romney people for doing something the obama people also do. The only actual fraud i see there was the girl lying about being a representative of the county.

The Republicans are extremely shady so this is no surprise. We saw this sort of thing tenfold during the primaries.

So now that you've declared this case is closed, please explain exactly how Voter ID would impact this case?

Take a cell phone with a video recorder ability and TRY to duplicate this video.

Try to get the audio legible in a public outdoor setting with vehicle noise, wind, side traffic and shopping carts rattling.

Try to hold the camera to so consistently keep the video focused on just the face ( of a very attractive young woman ).

This thing has the smell of setup and faked written all over it.

I just wonder how many hours and takes it took to make, and what was the real camera they used to film it, who the camera man was, and why they think we’re so gullible.

I get the feeling that they told her to say she works for the county clerk's office. I just seemed like she was going over what she was told. She started with that they're there in support of Romney, then it was "Ummm, ummm, County Clerk's office."

Good thing it wasn't an ACORN worker lying. We'd never hear the end of it.

That doesn't bode well. Either the county was registering only Republicans, or the girl was lied to by camp Romney to say they represented the county.

It makes me laugh to see all those guys in denial, as if this was all a setup and the (hot) girl was a paid actress.

No, I wouldn't. My beef with ACORN was them being involved in illegal activity, such as voter registration fraud.
Where their involvement in the registration fraud was being victimized by fraud by a sub-contractor and then turning in the fraudulent cards with them noted as highly suspect (as required by law) and fully co-operated in investigation of the sub-contractor.

So what’s your beef with that, again?

I agree with your points on this. In 2 major cities where I have lived, Safeway is a ghetto store and only found in the ghettos. It seems unrealistic that the RNC would attempt to register voters in the ghetto (since they are part of the 47% that would vote for Obama anyway).

Concerning the video, they picked a pretty girl who acts like she doesn't know any better, it just "happens" to be her first day on the job. The audio was really clear without background noises (I am a sound engineer and this is not possible in a parking lot without a boom mic with the proper wind screen). The video aspect ratio is also incorrect for a cell phone (noticed how it is trimmed down to only capture the girl, not the parking lot or other customers entering/exiting the store).

I would be a ton of money that if the girl looked like the average woman (not young and skinny), this video would have went unnoticed. It just goes to show how sexist our society is. Put a skinny woman in front of the camera and men's jaws will drop and forget everything else.

Yes, I am liberal. Yes, I am offended by this video simply because it's a dirty tactic that is going to go viral ONLY because there is a young woman that everyone thinks is hot in it. It is plain as day there are so many things wrong with this video that will go unnoticed. I am sick and tired of sex being used to sell anything, regardless of what it is for. This isn't going to change my political stance; I just wish men would think with the right head. Yes, I am also a man but I don't let my eyes deceive me.

I have no idea if this whole event is a setup or not, but I really only want to address the highlighted statement.

I live in the area. Colorado Springs doesn't have "ghettos", but we do have a lot of Safeways. Normal, middle class people shop there.

I have lived in 3 major cities throughout my life. Your post reminds me that stores are different depending where you live. Come to think of it, I have seen differences like this just between the cities I have lived in. I find it fascinating there is such a marketing difference depending on your region.

It was too widespread, over too many states. There were other reasons I thought they should be gone, but since they are gone, it's kind of a mute point.
