I get amazed at times by the distorted thinking of the far right...conservatives want more RYAN from romney....Listen conservatives come closer and pay attention...RYAN from day one has done nothing for romney and romney went down since he chose ryan. Will you never learn that america doesnt want your far right nutsyness.

Conservatives had hoped that Mitt Romney’s choice of House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (Wis.) as his running mate would make Romney act more like Ryan — bold, specific, confident. Instead, in the six weeks since Ryan became the GOP vice presidential nominee — and particularly in the three weeks since the Republican National Convention — there has been mounting concern among Republicans that the pick has made Ryan look more like Romney — vague, cautious and limited to preset talking points.

he'll most likely be one of the frontrunners in the GOP field in 2016, unfortunately. i really dislike his plans for medicare and medicaid.

You may be right. However, the GOP is rather split three ways these days. You have the old compationate conservatives, the libertarian conservatives (which seems to be an oxy-moron IMHO) and the radical religious right. Unless the party fixes it's three way split, we will see a primary much like we saw this las go round. I think Jeb Bush was making a case for his bid in 2016 during the RNC.

chances of him emerging as the most appealing candidate in that potential field are quite low; mostly due to his last name. assuming that Romney doesn't win in 2012, likely candidates from this far out include Christie, Ryan, Rubio, and Jindal. i suppose Mitch Daniels could be a dark horse candidate, but he may be out of the public memory by then, and his family really didn't want him to run this time.
